Good quality ink pad for stamping images and/or sentiments. It is a proper black.
Bought "Tuxedo Black". Good quality ink pad. I use it for stamping images and for stamping sentiments.For one layer of stamping it dries pretty quickly, approx 15 secs; if you put down more than one layer of ink then of course allow longer.For the currently popular Black & White cards, as you want the black and white to contrast as much as poss i.e. dark black and bright white, I confirm it's a proper black i.e. NOT tending towards grey. And if you layer it, the black gets darker of course. In the photo the stamped image was stamped once only (but twice, once on each layer of cardstock).

Best ink pad I have ever used!
I bought this ink after I purchased some Promarkers to colour in my stamped images. The ink I had before was not compatible with alcohol based markers but this is! I also like the fact that the pad is firm. With other ink pads they are more spongey and sloppy and tended to make more of a mess of my stamps, getting the ink in every nook and cranny. The firmness of this ink pad means it goes on only where it should. The images stamped in this ink, are nice and crisp and clear. I also found that after stamping, it takes most of the ink off so that your stamps looks cleaner even before washing them. Some of my other stamps were left completely stained beyond help with other inks, so even after just a short time of using these Memento inks, I believe it will keep them looking good for a longer time. I really recommend this ink pad! I will only use this make from now on! Hoping to invest in more colours soon as there are a lot in the range.
