Sound quality is excellent, fairly intuitive to get started, decent presets.
Sound quality is very good, connecting to computer was trouble free, good sounding factory presets, build quality seems very good. Just started using this and so far have tweak a couple of the presets as most are a bit heavy on the reverb but sound great otherwise. Controls are intuitive enough to play without reading the manual but there are features that have a learning curve. The drums have good sound quality but I don't find much I like about the beats as they seem a bit odd and unusable, but I haven't gone through that many. I'll probably use an external digital drum pedal or see what I can edit. I'm impressed by the sound quality of the amps and effects, which is why I bought it.

Valeton GP 200: Meets expectations, very good multi-effects for its price.
Meets expectations very well. I used to take the BOSS GT 100 to gigs; I usually play 3 to 4 times a week, and I got tired carrying the heavy GT 100, plus sometimes the band is in small spaces. The VALETON GP 200 has very good amplifier simulators, good overdrives, good modulation effects, delay, reverb, etc.; As with all multi-effects, you have to spend a little time at the beginning to configure the presets according to the particular needs of each guitarist, so that should not be a reason for complaint, especially if you have already been familiar with using them. of Guitar Multi-Effects. The VALETON GP 200 is much lighter and smaller than the GT 100. I carry the Valeton in a small backpack. VALETON GP 200, I think it can be a very good alternative to the Line 6 POD GO, in case you don't have the full money. I would buy another VALETON GP 200 as a backup. Once the guitarist starts creating the first presets, the rest of the multi-effects management will be much easier. Don't be afraid of the "learning curve." I have had Zoom 1010, Digitech GNX2, BOSS GT 8, BOSS ME 80, and always with some patience and common sense, you create your presets. I hope it helps. Greetings !!

Valeton gp-200 is worth the money
Takes time to learn how to function properly, once you get a hold of it you will definitely enjoy the amps, effects and sound that comes out of it, only dislike is not being able to use several mods at a time this i is why I give it 4 stars, other than that it’s worth the money

Great tones at a truly unbelievable price
I only just began using the GP-200, but its excellence is instantly evident. The impulse response feels immediate, the tones have sparkle and chime I typically associate with an analog effect, It is seriously versatile, seems well-made (time will tell) and easy to use. To be sure, a few IRs compare poorly to their analog counterparts. Nevertheless, the features and price make the GP-200 a phenomenal value. My basis for comparison is the Line6 POD HD500X which I owned for a few months and sold. Apart from being well-made, it lacked the qualities mentioned above and I never really made friends with it.

a little too much work to operate live for my situation
Great processor but to much of a learning curve for me

Not Really Gig Ready
When for the same (or even lower) price you can get a used HD500x, then I don't see a place for this unit, unless all you're interested in is saving space. First of all, the UI is not at all intuitive. In fact, it’s needlessly complicated. You have to go through too many layers of menus in order to accomplish what you need just to set up a good patch. All that comes with the unit is a quick start guide, so I had to download a manual just to figure out how to do some of the most basic tasks. I've owned and gigged with numerous multi-effects units from Zoom, Boss/Roland, and Line 6, so it should not be that easy to stump me. This thing had me stumped. Second, balancing volume between and within patches is not easy. For reasons I don’t pretend to comprehend, all of the distortion and OD effects are programmed so that they are ear splittingly loud when engaged. I could not use any of the distortion and OD effects without having the output level on the effect at nearly zero. Otherwise, the jump in volume when the effect is engaged is deafening. And God forbid you forget to save the patch before you switch out of it, because when you come back, your adjustments to the output volume on the distortion effect are reset. There’s nothing quite like a ruptured eardrum to ruin your day. Third, there is no way to set up two instances of the same effect in a single patch. There is no such thing as gain stacking, or multiple delay effects running at the same time, or running a chorus and a phaser at the same time. These are all things that I need at every gig. In order for this unit to work, I would have to be constantly switching between patches, and even then I still would not be able to layer effects. Fourth, the parameters on some of the effects (like the modulation effects) are way too limited for them to even be useful. You engage a chorus effect, and you basically get what you get. I will say that the Valeton GP-200 generally sounds good. I ran the unit through a Fender Deluxe Reverb amp and I was impressed with the tone. Having said that, the unit is NOT true bypass when all of the effects are off. When I plugged my guitar straight into the amp, and then placed the unit between the guitar and the amp, there was a big reduction in volume unless I cranked the output volume on the GP-200. I should not have to have the output volume at 80% in order to achive unity gain. The bottom line is that if compact size is a top priority, you don’t need access on the fly to varying levels of effects, or you're just using it to play at home, this unit may work for you. Otherwise, it is not, as it is promoted, gig ready.

Extreme bang for the buck!!
From analog pedal and Line 6/Boss digital pedals with outstanding sound, the usability and flexibility of this pedal over the competition is outstanding and amazing bang for the buck!!

Challenger to HELIX and Others.
A good effects pedal. Has all of the features that you would see in other effects pedals in it's range. Only downfall is that software support is very minimal, you will be relying heavily on Facebook groups or Reddit to get the tones you wanted.

Excellent multi-effects at this price point!
Great budget multi-effects processor. Loads of amps and effects. Can load NAM captures/profiles and your own IR’s. Very good overall tones and effects at this price point. Footswitches are customizable which is a great feature. Highly recommend to anyone considering. I was able to snag this on a BF special at <$300 CAD which was a super deal.
