We got this as a santa gift for my 8 year old, when it worked it was brilliant he and the other kids really enjoyed it but after two weeks of use the controller no longer connects to the device and there is no way of turning it on and getting it going, very disappointed little man as it was one of his favourite gifts I'm sorry I didn't go with the smyths version of this as I had originally considered doing as now I have to buy it anyways.

All the family were skipping in the garden. Was bought for my grand-daughter as an additional surprise present. She loved it. For all ages.

The media could not be loaded. Firstly, this came in a sturdy and protective box, so everything was intact when it arrived with no damage whatsoever.The main machine itself is attractive and stylish in a blue mettalic colour. I can tell the qiality is good as it feels very solid and it has a good weight to it. Combined with its non-slip bottom, the machine will not slide easily during use.It is rechargeable via USB type C cable which is included. I didn't have to charge it as it came fully charged already. A remote control is also included with a battery inside it.Operating the machine and remote control is easy and straightforward. There is a switch on the machine to turn it on or off. You then use the remote control to start the machine where it will begin its countdown (with sound) to warn you that the ropes are about to start rotating. You can also use the remote control to adjust the speeds by pressing either the + or - button. There are a total of ten speed levels to choose from. The speed level is shown on the LED display on the machine for easy reference, which is very useful in monitoring your progress.As this machine is pretty small, it is quite easy to store it when it's not in use.Overall, a good machine to keep you healthy and in a good shape. As for its price of £59.99, some may find it a little expensive but I think it is worth it. We are delighted with this product which we will happily use as much as we can.

Poor product. Wish I'd just returned it as soon as it had arrived. It barely worked then and now has completely given up so I'll have to throw it away. Not worth the money.

I didn't know what to expect with this - surely skipping involves a skipping rope and using both hands? Well not anymore it seems.The skipping machine (we chose pink) looks decent and stylish to start off with. It's weighted so won't easily fall/be knocked over by eager beavers. The base is also non slip so it should work on a variety of floor coverings. It is also fairly small so could easily be stored when not in use.The machine can be easily recharged using the USB cable which is included. It came fully charged, so we have not had to use this feature yet. There is also a battery operated remote control.It's simple to operate - the main switch is used to turn the machine on or off. The remote control is then used to start. There's a countdown with sound before the jump ropes start to move and these can be adjusted using the remote (using the + or - buttons). There are ten speed levels to choose from, and this is displayed on the screen.Now for the most crucial part for any parent - what do the children think? Well ours love it. It was a great idea and they can use it together at the same time, which is a huge bonus in my opinion.The price may or may not be a little steep. However, if you think that it takes up less room and causes less carnage than two traditional skipping ropes then it is worth it. At least with this you can use indoors on a rainy day. Would recommend.
