Inexpensive bedside storage!
This is a well designed little bedside table which is tremendous value for money. It comes as a flatpack, but is nicely machined and all the parts fit together perfectly. To complete the build you need two screwdrivers ( a star and a flathead) and a hammer. It suggests that it can be put together in one hour, but I found I took a bit longer. Before starting it is important that you check you have all the relevant bits and pieces. I ticked them off on the supplied instructions. You should then follow the sequence recommended for construction. Each part is numbered to eliminate confusion. Putting it together is pretty straightforward, as long as you follow the sequence and maintain concentration. Don't be tempted to jump ahead at parts. Almost completed, I put the screws securing the drawers to the runners the wrong way round. As a result the drawers didn't slide smoothly. Realising my mistake, it was easily remedied and I now have a neat bedside table that I am delighted with. It is solid, stable and sturdy and I expect it to prove durable. Once built, I would recommend you give it a light coat of wood oil to really smarten it up. The kind of oil you might use to treat you kitchen chopping block. Good buy!

Strange deliver ritual but delighted with the product-an excellent purchase.
If the size of these was correctly shown would have saved me a lot of time & trouble. Anyway placed the order for 2 eventually, a couple of days later I receive an automated phone call. I nearly hung up because I thought it was a marketing call, lucky I didn't as it required me to push 1 to confirm delivery for the next day and the time slot. Next morning a phone call from the delivery driver confirming he was on his way. True to form delivery arrived as promised, I signed for them the driver then photographed the delivered packages on my counter at work. I cannot knock the delivery process but it was complicated. To the product, brilliant!! Good value for money, excellent workmanship and all "proper" wood. They were not difficult to assemble but, needed concentration, not something I had a lot off at 8pm but first one took just under an hour (yes I did read the instructions first), they were easy enough. Second one was about 35 minutes to assemble and that included reversing one leg I attempted to screw on upside down!!! All the correct bits were in the boxes and once assembled they were solid. If it helps anyone the nails for the hardboard back panel are spaced about 4.75 inches apart. I do share the long term concerns about the draw fronts pulling off in time as they are only glued onto dowels but small "L" shaped brackets will cure that, if it happens. Would suggest that the use of the "turn & lock post" that fix base & top to side panels (X 4) would be a much better fix for the draw fronts-only a suggestion. The "other half" was delighted with them so I have done something right at last.

Lovely set of drawers - takes time & good concentration to construct
Lovely white woodwork finish. The drawers seem reasonably sturdy, given the extra underpinning provided for the thinnish drawer bases. It looks good now it's constructed. It says it takes an hour to construct, but it took me all afternoon and I've got a blister in my palms to prove it!!!! The difference between an amateur and a professional I guess - especially when interpreting what the diagrams were showing. However, by the end of it I understood the instruction diagrams a bit better - which were probably nearly as good as they could have been. Still I was seriously relieved to find that all the pieces I needed had been provided and fitted properly - always a bit worrying that the last piece of the 'adult' jigsaw might be missing....... Quite expensive for such a DIY kit, but very pleased with the end result - perfect for former airfix enthusiasts I guess.

A Decent Piece of Furniture
When researching this product I was a little concerned by some of the negative reviews, but took the risk anyway. And I'm glad I did.My item came with instructions and all the required parts. Assembly took about an hour, with only a screwdriver and tack hammer required. The instructions are perfectly adequate and any reasonably competent DIYer will have no difficulty. I thought the quality was fine, considering the price. When assembled it feels robust enough. All the elements fit together well and it looks and feels absolutely fine to me. The finish is very matt, and as we have a few other items of pine furniture in a gloss antique pine finish, I may well choose to varnish it later.Overall, I'm very happy and would recommend this to anyone who thinking of buying it.

Great! It was the cheapest of this style that I'd found when trawling the net. Ordered Saturday night, arrived this morning (Wednesday) when they said it would (can track package) and I started putting it together late this afternoon. Have nearly finished but stopped for tea. Unfortunately need hubby to screw the feet on as I didn't quite have the strength - I blamed it on the fact I'm still recovering from a carpal tunnel op but in fact the screw holes on the feet only went a tiny way in so need brute strength which my hubby has plenty of!! The instructions are not that fantastic as obviously no words and some of the diagrams are a wee bit confusing but if you've ever put a flat pack together it'll be fine as long as you remember to get the right parts facing front etc!!
