Simple to connect and use. Has saved us electricity because we can simply set a fixed time for our immersion heater boost and then forget it. Worth the price.Highly recommended.

We had Timeguard switches fitted to electric heaters in a holiday cottage. They worked well for us and family, but had reports when let that a "little old lady" did not understand how to use them. It would perhaps be helpful to have ON rather than Boost written on the button as this might have clarified how to use the switch, which improves safety and economy as heaters cannot be left on for too long unattended.

The cable connectors inside this switch are large enough to fit a couple if thick cables into. I originally ordered a similar switch to this and the connectors could only take the thinnest of single cables.One thing I would change on this switch is the brightness of the light on the switch. It's way too bright.

My customer didn`t want to put the heater on then forget it. So this timer was just the ticket.Put next to the heater the blue light is just enough to see without the main light on then 1 to 4 buttons for how long it will be on. Simple, Customer very happy.

I got this for a heated towel rail that I kept forgetting to turn off. Initially had trouble finding one with sufficient time to be set and really pleased with this. The boost button light stays on and is enough to light a dark corner of the hallway by the loo at night.A minor gripe was that the company first sent a totally different item - they were quick to replace it but I had to go to the post office to return it free with a label they sent.

Installed in mid 2017. Used probably 20 times since then. Now it has failed...flashing blue lights..loud buzzing...obviously no longer safe. Called the seller and they passed me to the manufacturer. Called the manufcturer to be met with an automated call handler. Think twice !!

Excellent for running my heater towel rail in my downstairs loo where there is no easy access to the central heating pipes to fit a radiator. There are 4 contacts - Live and Neutral in, and Live and Neutral out.The switching is a simple 'clicky' relay which controls the Live out and the two Neutrals are common. It doesn't mind what power the load is - anything up to the maximum is fine. My towel rail is only 100 watts.A single press wakes it up, then each successive press selects 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours on. There is another version with half those times.It is quite deep and there are exposed components which can be damaged, so make sure the back box is deep enough and buy a plastic spacer if required. I had to do.I've dropped a star because the first one packed up after a couple of years and I've had to buy another.

The last or failed after 10 years and this is the replacement. No issues and fits the same back box
