The lid hinges can easily drop off the box but can be replaced in position easily. 4 way socket fits inside with room to spare for my doorbell chime and plugs. A little bit fiddly trying to dress the cables and getting the cable grip to stay in situ before putting the lid on but got there. Like the way the lid umbrellas the exiting cables for further water protection. So far so good. Review: Excellent - Excellent dry box for my outdoor lights. Nice and weatherproof and should last for ages. Perfect for my needs. ## Features - 🛡️ MARKET-LEADING WEATHERPROOF PROTECTION: The medium green DRiBOX is a market-leading solution for protecting outdoor electrical connections. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by M***. on 17 October 2026* Excellent dry box for my outdoor lights. Nice and weatherproof and should last for ages. Perfect for my needs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Functionally perfect, but flimsy and awkwardly shaped *by T***Y on 12 October 2026* Functionally, it is perfect. It locks solidly with a clever latching system and prevents water ingress completely. We used it for 1+ years in our back garden in the open without any issues whatsoever (extension lead + 2 USB chargers, so 4 cables coming in and out). I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: 1. The box is VERY flimsy. It is constructed from a surprisingly paper-thin plastic, you could easily crush it with your fingers - as such, it cannot handle any kind of rough handling and must be placed into a protected area. A medium-sized dog stepping on it will break it. 2. It is very awkwardly shaped (both inside and outside). In particular, the inside area is trapezoid shape, with ribs, significantly narrowing towards the bottom. On the listing, the dimensions are given from the size at the top of the box, not at the bottom. You need to allow AT LEAST 2 cm clearance on all sides if you want to put something deep inside. ## Frequently Bought Together - DRiBOX – Medium IP55 Weatherproof Outdoor Electrical Connection Box 34 x 22 x 11.7cm – Power Cord Enclosure for Christmas Lights, Timers, Extension Cables, Leads, Reels, Transformers (Medium, Green) - PRO ELEC PELB1906 4 Gang Extension Lead White, 10m --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/48299999-dribox-medium-ip55-weatherproof-outdoor-electrical-connection-box-34-x](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/48299999-dribox-medium-ip55-weatherproof-outdoor-electrical-connection-box-34-x) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
