LOreal Collection Exclusive Pure Red Lipstick Liya

This lipstick is amazing, such a vibrant red and it lasts almost all day! Always get compliments when I wear it!

This is a bright orangey-red shade that probably would suit most skin tones, and is easier to pull off than it looks. The colour is quite buildable but a bit too easily smudged for my liking, especially when first applied.

This is 'Liya's red' in L'Oreals new celebrity range of lipsticks. It is a very bright, stand out shade: a classic red tone. There are several good points about this lipstick, one being the overall design. The casing is a sleek and elegant black, contrasted with gold sections. The name Liya is written on the front in an autograph style and the way that it is designed, with a raised section on one side of the casing, means that the lid only fits on one way and keeps it nice and secure. The lipstick is a nice formulation and glides on smoothly. It is also shaped well, so it is able to be applied, I find, in one easy motion.I was not overly impressed the first time I used this lipstick as I applied it 20 minutes before eating a full meal, and found that the colour had completely vanished when I looked in the mirror afterwards. Sometimes the fade of this can be patchy as well, with pigment left on some of the lip and not others. However, since my initial use, I have had a little more success with longevity, finding that the key is to let it soak into the lip a little longer and to take it with you if you are heading out, to allow for touch ups. The use of a lip liner also helped the lipstick have more staying power on me, so may be something to consider. Untouched and with light wear, such as drinking, this stays on well.The lipstick is moisturising in the sense that it does not dry out your lips, although does not feel sticky when on. I find that once it has been on a few minutes, you can't really feel you are wearing it, you are just left with the colour and a fairly matte look.This really is a stand out shade and the feel and look of this lipstick (both on the lips and packaging wise) are really nice, but I feel I can only give 3 stars as for me there are other lipsticks I would probably re-buy over this one.before. I find Rimmel's Rimmel London The Only 1 Lipstick, Easy Does It lasts longer and gives the same kind of pigment, for a slightly cheaper price (at the time of this review).

Purchase this product on a friends recommendation. It’s a super colour and stays put very well.

Lovely colour and it really does stay on!

Very nicely presented. Looks expensive and would make an ideal gift.Lipstick itself is perhaps rather average in covering power. It is quite bright.No noticeable bleeding of the edges.Good value as two are included.Not quite sure why its called J-Lo as the name on the case is Liya.

This is a lovely bright lipstick with good staying power. it is on the more orangey side of red and a little too bright for my colouring, I look better when it is slightly cooler. It glides on easily and comfortably and stays in place well, with no bleeding. At the end of the day it wipes off easily with a baby wipe.The packaging is lovely, it looks elegant and expensive. I am a bit confused as to why this is marketed as J Lo though, as it says Lisa on the lipstick! Not to worry as I would rather it said this than J Lo!!
