Top film with an original story line, comedy and action.I did this review after watching for the second time

Think a few reviews are taking this film too seriously. Sure, the plot isn't super slick but the premise is fun and there are plenty of chuckles to be had along the way. If you've had a crappy day, grab the popcorn, tune in and just enjoy the ride.

Such a funny movie, considering the subject matter, highly recommend it.👍

amazing film loved it in the cinemas and watching it again i still laughed like it was the first time .. i pre ordered the dvd for christmas and it came christmas eve as promised. can not fault the service over christmas i got watch the dvd as planned and loved every second. smiles all round

I do love these buddy buddy comedies, and this one was not bad. I found my self smiling at the slapstick but there were no real belly laughs. I thought it was a little silly in places and if they had made it a tad less idiotic and frantic and a little more gritty I think it would have been all the better for it. Also the two leads didn't gel all that well, there were sections of dialogue between the two where they didn't so much as glance at each other. There were scenes when Jake Johnson's character was slightly more serious and his performance then was better, but overall I thought it was a bit lazy in parts and a bit too frantic in others. Wayans was a bit too good for this part and I think if there were better script writers he would have shone in this.Ultimately it was enjoyable but worlds apart from what it could have been.

Really funny so if you like comedies this is good.They are going to a fancy dress but they go as cops and on there way realise people think they are real cops has a good story very funny and has a nice end.

Auf der Rückseite sieht man neben einer kurzen Inhaltsangabe noch weiterte Szenen zum Film.Inhalt:In diesem Film geht es um die wenig erfolgreichen besten Freunde Ryan O’Malley (Jake Johnson) und Justin Miller (Damon Wayans Jr.), die durch das Kostüm von Polizisten, plötzlich für echte Polizisten gehalten werden. Dies nutzen die Beiden aus, da es scheinbar viele Vorteile bringt. Denn plötzlich respektieren sie andere Menschen und auch die Frauen werden aufmerksam auf die falschen Polizisten. Doch ehe sich die beiden versehen, stecken sie in einem echten Problem fest. Denn sie werden von gefährlichen Gangstern verfolgt. Während Justin versucht das Ganze zu beenden, probiert Ryan die Gangster mit Hilfe der echten Polizei zu schnappen. Ob dies gelingt?Empfehlenswert?Diesen Film kann ich nur empfehlen! Er ist lustig und spannend zugleicht. Eine super Kombination, wie ich persönlich finde. Wer hätte gedacht, dass man nur durch ein einfaches Kostüm plötzlich in einem Actionfilm landet? Die beiden Schauspieler werden es in diesem Film mehr wie deutlich erleben. Ob diese sich nach dem Ganzen je wieder als Polizisten verkleiden werden?
