Very cheap but great quality
Bought this as a Christmas present over 7 years ago. It's gone down the family and its still working effectively and hasn't broke. Highly reccomend.

Great toy
I was very suspicious about this toy, I thought it'll be interesting for a day and then it'll be untouched afterwards. What a mistake! It's a great toy for a 4 year old! My son loves it and plays with it every day. And whenever we have his friends over it'ss the most popular toy.

Great toy! My 4 yr old son loved it ...
Great toy! My 4 yr old son loved it and played non stop for 24 hrs! It took him some time to learn how to transform it but it's still in one piece and seems solid so far.

Only Ok, there are better transformer toys
I bought this for my son and it's an okay toy but not great. We have a few other 3-step-changer transformers (bumblebee/Bisk/Drift) and these are all great toys. The main difference is that the Optimus toy is quite fiddly to change and nowhere near as easy as the other toys.I also find that when it is in either truck mode or robot mode its a bit flimsy. The truck front falls in often and the rear wheels aren't great. The robot head also falls down as the clip that it connects in to can un-clip when playing with it.This is only ok and I'd suggest buying other transformer toys over this one.

I bought this for my 4 year old son as its a 3 point turn to change from truck to robot so that he could change it himself without needing help every time as some transformers can be quite difficult even for an adult to transform . My son sometimes finds it slightly difficult to get it to click together as a truck but loves it and for the price is a great toy.

She was so delighted with it
Bought for my daughter's 6th birthday and literally half the price of any other shop. She was so delighted with it, even packing it in her suitcase when we went on holiday. She finds it easy to transform (I don't!) And it is a pretty decent size. Well worth the money

Would not be our first choice if we could re-do.
Not easy or intuitive to use. I would rather we had got my son a different transformer, even smaller - because we get asked to help with this all the time, because he cannot transform. The plastic does not connect easily.
