Great Value For Money
I wanted to wait a while to write a review, to make sure it was up to scratch. It really is. Unpacking & Assembly: Unpacking and moving this thing around is a two person job, and not two weak people, but two 'Desperate Dan' types. Do not try and move this thing around on your own, you will injure yourself. The base is very, very... very heavy. Assembly is well detailed and explained in a clearly laid out booklet: all the parts are labelled nicely. Most of the assembly could do with two pairs of hands. Features: Lots of nice features that are easy 'one touch' to use. They all worked perfectly as advertised. Belt / Surface: The belt is very sturdy and retains its speed really well: obviously the good motor has a lot to do with this as well. It is very well built and smooth. Gentleness On Legs / Feet: This is a real win. Doing 10k a day doesn't feel any strain or stress at all. I'm a big chap (110kg) on a weight loss regime and my walking at 5kph / jogging at 6.5kph, don't feel like any real stress or strain on my legs or feet. Noise: The machine is surprisingly quiet, using it for jogging, the most noise comes from me hitting the surface. That might sound obvious, but a few people have been surprised at the noise treadmills make, and seem to forget the weight that is thumping up and down on them. The machine itself is very quiet. Overall: Delivery was well handled, they delivered when they said they would with no fuss and put it where I wanted in the house. There is a great deal of packaging material, so trips to the recycling tip will be needed. Assembly was very straight-forward, well explained and the pieces well labelled. The functionality of the machine is easy to use and has some good pre-sets. It's easy to use for basic walking / jogging / speed increase / incline increase. It's quiet and easy on the legs and feet. You get what you pay for - it aint the cheapest out there, but it does a great job and feels like it will last a good long time. Thoroughly recommend it.

Awful (non existant) after sales service. DON'T BUY IT!
I bought this in 2016. At first it seemed great and I was pleased with it. Initially I wrote a 5* review... how things change when the retailer and manufacturer have your money already. I apologise to anyone who bought it on account of that review. It has not been used excessively (x3 per week). It has now got a problem I guess with the circuit board and is totaly useless, and there is no after sales service available. Having bought the treadmill via Amazon I thought that my purchase date would be verified like that, but you have to email proform to register the product for the 2 year guarantee, so as my purchase was less than 2 years but more than one and I didn't email I am left with a useless treadmill that doesn't work and can't be repaired. The after sales service is non existent, even if I paid for it as they have no agent in this area. The Proform customer service was very unhelpful, and of course don't want to know as they have my money. After emailing Sweatband about the Proform customer service I have heard nothing from them either. Not a happy customer. DON'T BUY IT.

Good product bad fittings
Good product but assembling it was a pain. Its not difficult but the thread of screws provided don't match thus you are unable to tighten them properly. It also ruins the thread on the screws so if you want to disassemble and relocate it then you will be in a pickle

Good quality product
Excellent treadmill for the price, good sized running deck and pretty good programmes, has a good solid feel about it and the only downside so far is an annoying squeak that sometimes occurs at certain speeds and inclines, but like I said it's only sometimes! Update. Managed to cure the squeak! Not too difficult, simply remove the motor cover and oil the 2 hinge point bolts for the incline facility. Treadmill is a joy to use and I would definitly recommend it to anyone.

Ok but not fantastic..
Quite tricky to construct, not helped by one side not quite being symmetrical (bit of a QA failure at the factory there I think..) Heart monitor is pretty useless and the belt squeaks when you are running (assume a little oil will fix this). Not tried the speakers yet, other reviews suggest these are not great. I'll say ok as it was essentially half price, would have been very disappointed if I'd paid the RRP of close to £1000!

Got this through Sweatband and absolutely love it. Very well made and assembly is straightforward
Got this through Sweatband and absolutely love it. Very well made and assembly is straightforward. Fairly quiet on our solid floor and the shock absorbing system works very well. Has a hydraulic strut underneath so its nice and easy to fold up and lowers itself nice and smoothly. All the controls are nice and simple with set increments or manual speed select for fine speed control. This is superb value for money and feels as if it will last a long time. I owned a Proform treadmill about 10 years ago, can't remember what model it was but I paid over a thousand pounds for it and eventually sold it due to not having much room after our children were born. This model is of equal if not better quality than the old one for less than half the price so well done to Proform. Also got excellent courteous service from the delivery company Sweatband uses with a phone call from them to arrange a convenient delivery day which they turned up for. The two guys lifted it into the house and were very friendly. Great product, great value and great service!

Terrible & unfriendly customer service from sweatband
You will work more of a sweat dealing with the terrible Customer Service from sweatband than you will on the ***** treadmill. They do not want to help when it's in Warranty and when out of warranty they try to rip you off (estimate of £115 + VAT to replace a bolt!). As regards the machine you can forget about listening to music while using it, because it is so loud you will have to wear ear plugs! Avoid sweatband if you are buying anything that could develop problems. Oh and I paid for 2 man delivery but one man carried it on his shoulder and was within an hairs breadth of dropping it (I bet many people will recieve damaged goods from them that have been dropped earlier in the delivery process!).

Put your trainers..technician hat!
The unit is good, well packaged and as described, but there are several factors that has made me go for only 3 stars (being generous). First, despite the assembly instructions being easyish to follow, it is not an easy assembly >1h at least for an average person who does not assembly threadmills or stuff on a regular basis. You definitely need 2 people to do it properly. Second, the threadmill does not come with the belt aligned!! You need to align the thing yourself and make sure the belt is neither too loose or too tight, or that would reduce the lifetime of the belt and also it starts to bend upwards on the edges. Third, only in case of serious fault they will send an engineer to look at your unit - in other words, they (ICON UK/Europe) are VERY reluctant to send you someone so you are pretty much on your own. However, I should say that they do have reasonably good instructions and some youtube videos showing you how to calibrate the d thing. Still.... you expect to be able to use the unit straight away not faff around getting it calibrated, aligned and optimal. Finally, you get a "free" upgrade so what you are buying is not the M7 but a new unit CST505, maybe there are some new features but not sure where the trade offs were potentially made... leave that to the imagination. Hope this helps make a bit more of a clear decision when getting into buying this mid range threadmill.
