Derwent Charcoal Set Blister Pack of Mixed Charcoal Media

For what I’m paying these are amazingg!I’m doing my GCSE’s work with these and they are pretty good. The pencils are smooth and the black is really black! The white is less pigmented and if you layer it on top of the black is just blends and doesn’t stand out as much. Easy to blend and blending stick is good ( can’t say much about it as it’s my first ever blending stick so don’t know where it ranks) the big charcoal block I haven’t used as I can’t really find a use for it and it’s quite messy and packaging is basic and can’t find a place to put all the stuff but overall pretty good product, would definitely recommend!

Derwent are a good middle of the road pencil maker... Not as good as faber and castell in my opinion but nor are they as expensive. This pack was for me a budget way to experiment and I was pleased with the products. The packaging however was damaged and several of the charcoal sticks were snapped.

I bought this as a gift for my Granddaughter who is studying Illustration at Uni, she was really pleased and it was a great addition to her art box. She loves drawing with charcoal and this was a good Mixed Charcoal Media pack.

Once piece arrived broken but, all in all a very good starter set.

saw something on ytube with charcoal, wanna try out, this seems to be the perfect thing, apart from the soft eraser , cannot complain

I've never before tried any charcoal media and this set got all I've wanted, cheap to boot. Other than charcoal pencils I don't yet know how would I use other stuff in this set but in time I'll get to learn.

has everything you need for charcoal drawing, love the brown pencil that comes with it as it adds a different shade for drawings. perfect
