These are sock holders. They hold socks.But if we really want to be precise, the foot of the baby also plays a major role in holding the sock in place, so it's actually 50% sock holders.Actually, though, the socks also hold themselves a bit (albeit badly, otherwise we wouldn't need holders), so let's say 10% holding power to the socks alone, which leaves us with 40% sock holders.But you get 3 pairs in the pack, so that's 120% sock holding power right there!These calculations are done under the assumption of 2 feet per baby. If your baby has a different number of feet, or indeed feet with especially low/high sock holding power, your experience may vary.Also, if your intent is only to prevent the sock from moving, rather than keeping the sock on the baby, then a drawer or a box would be more adequate.This is not to say that putting the baby in a box is a good idea. It is not. It will, however, keep the socks in close proximity to the baby.

The Sock ons 3 pack 6 to 12 months fit as expected, great fun bright colours, they really work well to retain the socks on a child's feet, the child seems comfortable wearing them, I was a little concerned they may have been uncomfortable for longer periods, but no, he seems to not even know they are there, the Sock ons seem expensive (compared to the price of socks for example) but as they work so well and are easily washed, they are good value for the job they do.

Hooray! On the face they look a bit expensive but I nearly spent the same amount on a pack of 3 stay up socks whereas these effectively bring life back into a whole pile of socks I was getting so annoyed with I was on the verge of throwing.I bought the 6 months + for my 5 month old who is on the big side and I'm using them with quite thick socks as it's cold and they are working like a dream. As long as you readjust them into position every now and again then it keeps socks on all day. And he is a very kicky baby. These socks before would last 2 kicks and would be off. Fit wise they are good and I checked they weren't leaving any marks on his feet which they aren't so not too tight atm. All in all I am super happy, these are such a good idea and I'm awash with extra minutes in my day to spend on other things.

AMAZING, not incredibly thick but do have some stretch! Slightly smaller than I expected especially considering I bought 6-12m and my boy is 5months old and if his feet get too much bigger they will struggle to fit him.With the only complaint out of the way these are a HUGE essential for me. I put them on my baby with socks, sleepers and I'm sure you could do the same with tights! Nothing budges and when I took my boy to the doctor she complimented how great they are and that she sees a few mums with them on their baby!

Someone recommended these to me to keep the socks on my 12 week old baby. She is very small and I can never get socks to stay on her feet. These kind work in that rather than putting her socks back on every minute, I am putting them back on every 10 to 15 minutes! They are quite tricky to get on over her socks which are always too big while she is wriggling around. Not sure I would recommend them for newborns as a good solution but might be handy as she gets older.

These definitely do the job that they're supposed to do and we have never had a sock fall off whilst using these.But from this pack, the light pink ones did fray quite badly after just a couple of uses and no washing. We did email the company and were sent a replacement which has since been fine though so possibly just a one off.

I can't believe I didn't know about these when I had my now 3 year old! I seem to produce children with ridiculously wiggly feet, meaning their socks absolutely never stay on. Not even for a minute. I recently bought these for my 10 month old after almost giving up on socks and letting his little wiggly toes freeze. I cant believe how well they work! The only time his socks come off now are when he pulls them off, and even then it takes some doing. Great buy. Would be a perfect pressie for a new mum as well!

Sock-ons are an amazing invention. Socks do not stay on baby feet - unless you have sock one! My son has recently started trying to pull his socks off and they even prevent that! We had some handed down to us and unfortunately (after going through at least 3 kids already) they'd stretched a bit too much and we lost one in the supermarket. So I bought this set of 3 as it means I've always got a pair clean!
