How big area would l one bag covers?

My enclosure is 70cm x 48cm this give it a good thick covering . Hope this helps

I would think so. It’s supposed to have gone through dust removal and it’s just hay made into a pellet so should be safe!

Does this bedding smell?

When you first take it out the bag yes but after that no. I was advised to change my torts bedding once every 3-4 month and this does the job everytime. No smell even before its due to be changed!

Is this okay for my harman tortoise

Hi Enya, Although I have a Horsfield Tortoise who gets on very well with this material, I can't see any reason to think why it wouldn't be just as good for a Herman Tortoise. However, they are probably use to more sand and soft material underfoot. All tortoises like to dig and climb and I believe this material helps exercise.
