Review: Tape sticks on well. - It stays on! Have tried other micropore tape which has come off within minutes. This is the best I've bought as it really does stay on. Will only buy this one now.
Review: Another tape for all seasons. - It's difficult to believe that Micropore was first introduced as long ago as 1959. It has become the staple alternative for me as a band-aid. It is quick to apply and the papery backing is easily torn to length. My Gran never went anywhere without her roll of Micropore and we often joked that if your leg was hanging by a thread, Gran would patch it together with Micropore and that other great product, Savlon! Available in a range of sizes: 12.5mm, 25mm and 50mm (1/2", 1" & 2"), Micropore is excellent as a stabiliser to hold the edges of a minor cut together or to cover a bad scrape on knees or elbows. It is often the first barrier between the outside world and the healing wound. The adhesive is hypo-allergenic yet sticks well to skin leaving no residue when peeled off. The greatest property of Micropore is its structure, allowing fresh air to pass through to speed the healing while barring larger contaminants from causing infection. It is splash-proof and will resist water to a degree so you can have a shower or bath without worrying if it will peel off of its own accord. A highly recommended product to keep in your First Aid box, glove compartment or bag for instant use.

**Q: would foundation work on top of it?**
A: Hi, it would depend on the foundation. Some oily or lighter foundations may not cover so well but a concealed may work. Just beat in mind any liquids may have an affect on the performance of the adhesive, thanks, LifeandLooks

**Q: Is this a full 5m roll of genuine 3M Micropore tape? Is it in its original box / packaging?**
A: The length is 10 yards  (9.1 metric metres). It is supplied in a tamper proof heat sealed bag (not a cheap zip-log bag). If you want a boxed item then purchase the smaller 5 metre roll or a commercial use box of 12. If you are the type of person that is routinely concerned about whether a product is 'genuine' then go to your local pharmacy.  All UK sellers on Amazon source 3M products from Europe - Germany to be specific.

**Q: I am trying to source a heavy duty dispenser for the 5cm wide tape.**
A: This is not 5cm tape. Amazon has been made aware that they title is incorrect but they refuse to correct their mistake. DO NOT purchase this item is you are expecting 5cm wide tape. Refer to the images. width = 2.5cm, length = 5m.

**Q: is this the paper or the plastic tape?**
A: Paper type .If you want plastic get transpore tape  (not white but transparent one)

My husband uses this tape to protect his nipples whilst running. It does the job, but is a little painful pulling it off, so best done in the shower. Does not loose it's sticking power when sweaty. Much cheaper than than the products aimed at runners, but just as effective.
