I used these both for heat and cold relief, for acute sciatic pain in my knee area. They are very well made, durable and comfortable to use. Both heat and cold methods, last for a significant time and in my case worked. The cases are also very well made and useful to use. I fully recommend them

Do you think you can buy re-usable ice packs in a shop? No. Amazon comes through.I tend to use these cold, but they do heat really well . It sounds obvious, but read the instructions before you use them. They come with a protective sleeve and tHe OnE time I didn't use it I got freezer burn. Not cool.Having two as well is just so handy, as it means there is always one ready (I just store them in the freezer for when I need it - give it a good 4 hours before you use it). The size is good as you can then use it on your back or leg etc. For the price and the use that you get out of them, it's well worth it.

After having a small operation and needing to regularly ice the location these were perfect, using one while the other was in the freezer made for a constant supply of cooling relief. Even after 12 hours in the freezer they remain maliable enough to change their shape to fit where needed.The provided covers are not soft but certainly not uncomfortable on your skin.I found that even after several hours they still provided some cooling effect.

There a good size n are ok for heating , but to put in freezer it just goes like a block of ice, i brought for my father in-law thinking it would be like my gel pack, but unfortunately it was too hard to use straight out of freezer you need to leave it out for a bit before use to make more pliable, especially if u wanted to bend it around a knee or elbow, which can be abit inconvenient.
