This product has great adhesion for covering raw edges of MDF shelving and other decorative uses such as sticking up fairy lights to the wall. Easy to remove without leaving marks. I’d buy this again.

I bought this masking tape because I wanted to write on it.See picture for the results. The dot on the right shows what happened when I let it dry for a minute or so, then smeared it with my thumb.Pencil - yes, that works, it's a bit light, but it doesn't smear.Permanent ink from a fountain pen - yes, you can write, but it smears badly when fresh.Uniball pan - as fountain pen. Smears badly when fresh.OH pen, for writing on overhead slides - yes that works, and it doesn't smear. ( I used the "stabilo OH pen")I tried the smearing test after allowing the ink to dry a lot longer (10 mins) and both the uniball pen and the permanent ink were more stable. It's when the ink is fresh that it smears badly.The tape covers well - it is opaque, not totally, but good enough. See lowest strip in the picture.It sticks well enough to paper, and you can pull it up and reposition without difficulty.

I wanted white traditional masking tape, this stuff is 5mm wide, no idea what it is meant for, certainly not masking areas from paint. Read the small print and dimensions.

Wanted it for art work Well, it was a lot smaller than l expected and l have not had chance to use it as l lost it.

I use a lot of MT washi tape as I find it is the best, though usually more expensive. Still you get what you pay for right? I wanted white because I needed to write on it. This white comes in three different widths. This is the narrowest one, but there is also a 50mm and a 100mm version.

Easy to use and good quality tape.

This tape is great for drafting stations - if you just want to secure paper to the drawing board then take it off again. Because its not to sticky its not a pain to remove. You can write on them as well which is useful for adding notes to things you intend to remove.
