I've seen these around for years but not bothered with them, to be honest I couldn't see how they could better a brush. Wrong. I had 3 problem window sills that I could not get a nice, smooth finish with the white gloss I was using. I resorted to a pack of these and honestly, the sills look fab now. Absolutely glass smooth finish. Not used on architraves yet but even if they only work on smooth surfaces they are worth the money.

Wasn't sure how robust these would be but I managed to get 5 coats of oil onto my garden table before it started to come apart. I still have the remaining 3 which I plan to use to do some emulsion snagging.

Surprisingly strong foir such low cost. Bought for painting on thin water-based varnish. They we easy to use and left a good finish, washed well in water.

Lightweight and good quality product. Used it this morning to oil my oak doors and the benefit I found of using these compared to the brush was even coverage and not having to worry about brush marks.Cleaning was easy and left them to dry, will reuse them again for another coats and then in the long term also can be used by the kids to paint.

Bought three sets now and love. them . They don’t last well though and need replacing quicker than I thought though. Does the job bought for and not expensive so I don’t mind replacing them for new projects
