So I see these are for 100 clothes pins but how many different colors are there? Is it all of the colors pictured?

Would these clothespins cause damage to kids art work on construction paper?

They are very small but I doubt they would cause any problems. Right now I am using them to hang my Christmas cards on ribbon attached to the wall with push pins and the clips are holding firmly. Since a card is just about the weight of a piece of construction, you probably need to use two pins for each. I hope this helps.

How do you affix the jute to the wall?

You attach the jute to the wall any way you like, pins, nails, screws ,tape and etc. First you make a string of clothespins by running the jute through the spring in the clothespins spacing them as you like. As i don't know exactly what you are doing i have nothing to ad. Sorry, Phil
