Sum Fun - The Educational Numbers Game For The Whole Family

Our little grandson, 5, loves doing his numbers. Bought this game for him, but made up our own version. Giving him two simple numbers to add up. He then uses those numbers to make a difficult sum for us to add up. Then we take 2 numbers from that answer to give him an easy sum. It’s great fun, can be used by all ages, and shoudl help children enjoy numbers and learning in a fun way. Would recommend.

The contents (+,-,*,divide= blue tiles, numbers-white tiles) enable versatility. Our grandson loves making number sentences. Highly recommended.

I have used these in my maths lesson already. They are great and good for my class to practice their mental maths. The only thing I don't like is how in the instructions you use the word 'sum' for multiplication, division, addition and subtraction when actually the word 'sum' is just for addition. Just wondered if this can be changed so children are not taught wrong as it does cause problems in maths lessons.

Great product, little one loves this trying to make sums, but also great to play against my father, who is a wiz at maths, definitely for all the family. daughter is 8 for reference

My 8 year old grandson loves that he can also play this game on his own and makeup multiple sums. Comes in a handy zipped up case to keep pieces safe.

I bought this because Bananagrams was good, and I thought a similar maths version might work well. However, it doesn't quite work because you can end up with no equal symbols for example, and you keep getting stuck. We found it better to use it with bananagram rules and when you're stuck, dump one letter and pick up any three.

This is a nice educational set. Our 7-year old likes to play it, which is good. It's like dominos with maths. The set comes with a handy storage bag.I hover have some issues with it; i.) I found it a bit expensive for what it was (a bunch of plastic tiles in a bag). ii.) while great for children in his age group, adults or older siblings can only play a mock game, as it is all about the player with the least maths skills iii.) the instructions are not conclusive and allow you to play a variant of games. This is nice in a sense, but this is somewhat unsatisfying at that same time. iv.) It often quite hard to form combinations, more often than not you find the game stuck.

Regalo di Natale per un bambino di 8 anni. Davvero utile per allenarsi con le 4 operazioni divertendosi. Le regole del gioco non sono subito tutte chiarissime ma ci si può anche dare delle proprie regole.Vengono consegnate ad ogni giocatore 5 caselle numero e 4 caselle operazione e da qui si parte. Incastrando i tasselli come un cruciverba bisogna creare delle operazioni. L'obiettivo è terminare tutte le tessere ma attenzione (ed è qui la poca chiarezza delle istruzioni), quando non si riesce a completare un operazione con le proprie caselle su deve dire "numbers" e tutti i giocatori devono prendere una nuova tesserina (bianca o azzurra a propria discrezione) quindi le tesserine aumentano. Stessa cosa anche quando si completa un'operazione, si dice "numbers" e tutti pesacno dal mucchio una nuova tesserina. Adatto a grandi e piccini (diciamo piccini dalla 2°/3° elementare in su).Consigliato.

Enseignante en cm, j'utilise ce jeu pour améliorer les compétences de mes élèves en calcul mental, peu bruyant, solide.Les enfants doivent maîtriser les tables de multiplication et les 4 opérations pour jouer efficacement. Pour les collègiens on peut inclure les nombres négatifs . La notice en français n'est pas tout à fait complète . Attention le jeu ne se résume pas à des sommes (erreur de traduction ?) C'est un bon investissement , peut être un peu cher.

La verdad es que es un buen regalo para casi cualquier edad, incluso para personas mayores. Y se puede llevar a comidas familiares, excursiones...Como viene con la bolsa portátil.

Les règles ne sont pas très claires je trouve. Malgré tout un jeu mathématique qui plait à mes enfants ... et aux parents.
