Could do with extra guy points
As light as my brolly but with much more room. Very easy to erect & dismantle (I read the instructions first). I did buy heavy duty pegs for the main guy points but the wire pegs enclosed should be fine for the intermediate points on the nylon. One issue I think could be better is if two pegging loops were attached at the back to tighten the nylon there, like on the side panels. As others have mentioned, this tends to lift above ground level. I will add these myself and see how it works. Really looking forward to tench season starting now

Nice n easy
My Day Shelter came early and well packaged so I'm happy with that. I put it up in around 2 minutes in my front yard so could'nt peg it out also in a gale force, yes it did take off but I expected that, took it down in 2 minutes no problem without instruction so it is very easy to put up n down. I think it will be OK if it's pegged down right and kept taut with the ties, although the pegs are in the bin ! (shame the pegs are so poor). 4 ****s because it has'nt been used yet but I'm sure it will deserve more, I just need a groundsheet to make it right, I have my own H/Duty pegs so I'm OK with that. Much better than a Brolly, I'll be using a full size box with side trays and I'm sure I'll have more than enough room, because it's a Day Shelter all my luggage will sit well out of the way at the back to keep dry or out of the sun. Nowt wrong with this Shelter, I'm more than happy just now...2nd day review:My 2nd attempt to put the Shelter up was simple, around the same time for taking it out of the bag and putting down again and rolling it up very easy, so it was'nt luck after all. There is going to be a 3" gap all round at the bottom but I don't see this as any sort of problem because I've added an extra peg loop (from the strap) at the back as I felt it needed it to keep it all taut in the right places, using the correct pegging points should keep it stable. getting a draft should'nt be a problem, and it is'nt a bivvy so that's expected. I measured it up at 56" ht x 60" w x 56" d, the front opening being around 80". Plenty of room for my gear and the internal pockets a bonus for me to keep my phone handy with other stuff. I don't normaly fish on windy days becacause I'm a float and feeder bloke, so I hope to get out later this week to put the Shelter through it's paces. I only fish margin with the pole so the pole flap isn't rally needed. I think the Shelter is an excellent piece of kit and means I don't have sit under my brolly anymore, so recommended at present. Still happy.3rd and final review:Tried and tested on the bank. The shelter stood up to a very brisk wind and kept me dry on a stormy day so it did what it's suposed to do, but I had a problem putting it up, not because of the wind but because I didn't notice that the tension strap at the bottom front wasn't free of the back legs ! would be better with a quick release buckle to avoid a simple poblem, now I know what to check when putting the shelter up. There was no gap at the bottom of the shelter on the bank sitting on cropped grass so no prolem with the wind getting under it.

The instructions are in the bag.
I use this for camping, so I can cook outside and not be rained on constantly (useful for this summer's UK weather).Having tried to erect it indoors as a practice, I didn't rummage enough about to find the instructions on how to put it up. So I looked on line and watched a few youtube vids. Also I realised I needed to be a bit more confident in pulling up the lever (I thought I was going to snap it). Now it is very easy to set up and fold down. Both myself and my teenager can sit comfortably underneath it, with a small folding table, and read / play cards / cook.It stayed up despite the North Devon high winds, but I have bought extra pegs just incase. The ones supplied do the job though.

Weather has been fine on my fishing days
Have had no chance to use it yet. Weather has been fine on my fishing days. It's a pity the erection instructions are rubbish. But it does look like good shelter. W Johnson

Fishtec day shelter
Goes up very easily but a total waste of money. No matter how hard you try there is a massive gap around the floor area so no way to shut out the wind. There is no skirt around the bottom of the shelter nor insufficient peg down points. The tent pegs supplied are useless and far too light for there intended use. I would return it if it wasnt for the cost to do so and choose another product.

Ripped along seam
The speed you can put this shelter up is fantastic. And just as fast to put it away. On saying this this is the second one I have got .the last 1 lasted about 16 months. Approximately 30mph gust of wind ripped it along the seam dreaming it not fit for use. I only got another due to the speed you can erect and peg it down. You make your own mind up. Was I daft to get another or not. Would you?

... car shows rather than fishing as it looked more sturdy than other products
I chose this for car shows rather than fishing as it looked more sturdy than other products. It may not be the cheapest shelter on the market but it's certainly good value for money. It easily accommodates two fold up camping chairs and there's more than enough room for all of our odds and ends. I looked everywhere for its packed length and was concerned it would be too long for the car. It measures exactly 1180mm long (just under 4 foot long) worth checking if you have a small boot space.
