This is one of my best purchases brought for my daughter. This was her 5th birthday present and I am really pleased with it and it is well worth its price.I had brought a plastic Barbie doll house beforehand but I was very disappointed with its cheap quality and the fact that it was not durable which caused it to keep falling apart and yet they are quite expensive so I ditched that as my daughter was not happy with it either and I got this one instead. I wished I had brought it in the first place and not wasted my money on the plastic Barbie doll house. Okay this is not the proper Barbie doll house but in my opinion and from experience with the proper Barbie doll houses this one is much better and it is still very pink and glam with a working lift.The house is very large and there is plenty of room for Barbie/Sindy sized dolls. It comes with some furniture and it is very easy to assemble. I was able to assemble this by myself with no problems. It is very good quality, durable and will bring years of fun. Very happy indeed and so is my daughter and her Barbie's :)

I bought this wonderful dolls house as a gift for my daughter, for Christmas and I am very happy I did!About Amazon and shipping: It was eligible for free delivery (which was great considering the fact it weighs 17Kgs!) and although we placed the order just a few days before the holidays, it arrived soon enough for New Year's day!About the Dolls House: It is beautiful and sturdy and I am convinced it will last for many years. The pictures in Amazon as well as in Kidkraft's own web site, don't do it justice. It is much better looking from up close! It is huge, therefore very impressive, and it is very well made. The quality of the house and its furniture is excellent! It looks like a unique and wonderful piece of furniture inside the nursery.My girl is only two and a half yrs old but it is already her favorite play!About the packaging and assembly: It came in a large heavy box and it was in parts so we had to assemble it. It had excellent instructions with very clear large pictures and well organized screws and tools, so it took us no more than two hours to put it together.Overall, an excellent choice and a great value for money.

I bought this doll house for my 4 year olds birthday & she absolutely adores it! It fits her extensive barbie and Disney princess doll collection perfectly. It is very large but she can access all areas with ease.It was relatively easy to put together although the instructions were unclear at times & when it came to putting on the roof panels we had to adjust them as the screw holes didn't match up & were not sitting right.On the hole it seems very sturdy and the house and furniture are of good quality, very pleased and so is my daughter!

Honestly I should’ve read the measurements twice, I’m 5ft 5 and it’s just below my shoulders. This is amazing and I’m happy with what I paid. My 5 year old will love it and it’s going to last YEARS. It was pretty easy to put together too

Be aware!!IKEA furniture is built better.If we had paid full price for this we would be sending it back.A few panels came with scuffs on. Pre drilled holes in the wrong places. Nothing really fits together that well and you end up manufacturing it yourself.Also fairly flimsy, not what you would expect.

I don’t usually write reviews but felt I had to for this one as the reviews are a mixed bag.Overall this dolls house is brilliant.I would not pay full price but I got it at £88 on Amazon warehouse and I feel this is an acceptable price for it.It’s not a hulking sturdy piece of furniture but as kids toys go it’s almost all wooden abs I have no worries about it being broken by boisterous play.Assembly took an hour. I used a electric screwdriver. Instructions are simple but note than enough to get you through. We put the lift in upside down in picture on purpose as our daughter felt it wasn’t fair for her little lol figures to jump over the barrier etc. She’s five and brilliant at debating.We didn’t have any missing bits and everything was intact and in new condition.It fits omg dolls perfectly and the little lady it is for is thrilled. I can see this being used for years and hopefully being passed on to her younger cousin in the future.

Instructions are badly labelled and unnecessarily difficult to assemble. The quality is poor and wood is already bending. Definitely not worth the high price. Difficult to return though once you have assembled and realised what poor quality it is.Also, the furniture that comes with the house is not quite big enough for standard Barbie e.g. Barbie cannot sir in chairs or lie down in beds.
