I used this tape to attach eye lashes to my wife's car. Worked great.

slightly narrow, (.378") so if your application actually needs .4" width keep looking. Foam tape is somewhat hard to get right when slitting but it is done by good converters, once they get it dialed in. I am hoping this will work for me. I really needed .5 but figured .4 was still ok, not that sure about this stuff. I'm using this to reattach trim on a Dodge Grand Caravan and I am hoping their designers didn't do something stupid like rib the contact surface when they molded the trim, cause .4 was a compromise and this is worse. I might still have to return this once I strip the parts off the vehicle. It would have been nice if the sellers had included dimensional tolerance in the listing.

This tape works great-but the smell that blasts you when you're open the bag is something just shy of a chemistry experiment gone wrong.

Good price but definitely doesn’t seem to hold as well as the other “3M VHB” tapes I’ve used.
