Cuts through wood beautifully, most of the time
It's a fun tool to use as you can watch the grain lines in the wood appear to move sideways as you drill through them and expose them in different places, but it does occasionally grab and you need a lot of strength to hold onto the drill when that happens - I wouldn't let a child use it no matter how competent they are or how well supervised, because when this thing bites it's vicious. That isn't the fault of the tool though. And after it grabs, it can also get stuck in the drill. My drill is now cosmetically damaged from having to use a monkey wrench to get it out, but again that isn't the fault of the tool.

Perfect when cutting knobholes (doors).
Got this while replacing all the knobs on my doors and needed ti cut new latch channels. Did the job very well with an impact driver with clean sharp cuts, spot on and no issues at all, munched through 10+ doors and the latch holes no issue, would buy again - but suspect this will last a lifetime so will never need to.

Fast and efficient hole makers
Very effective for making holes in joists and beams. To reduce tear out at the exit of the hole, stop drilling as the tip breaks the surface and drill from the opposite side. in this way a clean hole is created. These are not in my view designed for fine accurate woodworking, for which forstner bits are appropriate, but are for genersl construction and first fit work in construction timber. They are fast and aggressive and save a lot of time when a lot of holes are required to be made such as when plumbing in pipes and wires though joists. The thread on the spike can clog with resin after a while so foes need cleaning from time to time, and does eventually blunt, requiring extra pressure to be applied, for this reason I treat these as a cost of doing the job which is more than compensated for by the significant time saving they provide. Also be aware that you may need to hold onto the drill firmly due to torque they absorb and you will need a decent drill to get the bedt from them, probably not suitable for low power diy cordless drills, but work very well with my makia 18v cordless.

this a very aggressive bit
Ok it did the job but good lord this is an aggressive bit, I found it hard to control and once it's screwed in the wood, it doesn't let go easily! will be looking for a more gentle, more precise bit. Can't fault this one though, it sure worked

Cut cleanly through our new composite front door
I just had a brand new composite front door fitted in the UK and needed a spyhole.I have a rubbish Bosch drill, only rubbish as it's very underpowered for most things and limited to a 10mm shank. This was only one of a few 16mm's I could find with a nice small hex shank that would fit my drill. Ran a pilot hole all the way through, then ran this beast halfway through dead slow and it chewed the door up like butter. Clean cut and no messing around. Same on the other side. Few more times in and out to clear out the foam mess inside, job done.Only negative is I found out that it doesn't seem to cut very well if you accidentally leave your drill in reverse... oops.

Cutasaurus! Chews through wood
Fantastic.Short enough to use between joists with standard combi drill, chews through wood with very clean cut and minimal splintering on exit.

Super efficace et endurant.
Super efficace et endurant, en revanche il faut une machine puissante et bien la tenir.

Good Drill Bit
I wanted a drill bit that would make holes without blowing out the backside. This bit basically does that.It has this "feature" where it will stop boring about 2 or 3 mm before coming all the way through.. The tip goes through the wood, but the bigger auger doesn't. You can press really hard and it will no bore anymore.I have no idea if this intentional. But it works perfectly because you can flip the wood over and drill from the other side. The hole is already centered because the tip made a small hole. This might be a con for some people in some situations. The sides of the holes are relativity clean as well.I tested primarily on MDF, but it works the same on plywood.
