Very good work shoe
As a baby-boomer guy who is on his feet all day both on concrete and in the dirt. And being a die hard Red Wing guy. These are a great! After over a year of daily wear they are still very comfortable and are not showing signs of breaking down. I find myself wearing these on my days off too.

Please consider fitment of this shoe
Keen makes stuff I like. I have a few pairs of their sandals (another purchaser described them as modern caligae) and like them; decided to try these shoes as my current pair of Thorogood boots makes me feel like I'm walking on a waffle iron. The shoes appear to be well made.... BUT...PLEASE know they have a VERY SMALL foot opening! I have NEVER worn wide shoes and I needed to go up a full size and from a regular width to a wide size when trying these (I regularly wear 10.5 normal width). Still getting my left foot in the shoe is VERY hard although I am hoping they will break in a little more over time. I also wish the front tongue had more of a scallop where it comes into contact with my foot.

Sole is peeling…
I’ve had These shoes for the past three months I’ve noticed the bottom of the sole is starting to peel off. I only wear inside plant only and only on Ergo Matt I’m very disappointed. I thought they would last me at least a year.

Shoe was tight
The shoe was too tight around the ankle. I ordered it .5 larger than my normal size because the toe box is usually too small in steel/carbon toe shoes, but these looked like clown shoes on me. I guess they fit true to size, but they were way to tight around my ankle.

Keen last
I’ve had all brand throughout my 40 year career and none last as long or are as comfortable.

Unsure about the sizeing
I have had Keens before, these were very tight in the toes and I could not put them on without great effort they were by far too tight. The same size and style Merrels fit perfectly. Don't know what has happened but these seem to be running very very small. Quality and build looks to be okay but you can't really tell if you can't wear them.

Hearty shoes
I have a slim heal so there's some wiggle room...will try some padding. Great shoes..hard toe. Seems to be able to take a "beating" and keeps on "ticking".

Wide not wide
I bought the wide and returned because it was the skinniest wide in my experience

Great KEEN quality, just not the right fit for me
Typical KEEN quality with nice leather. This shoe was billed as having a cushioned "running shoe" midsole, grippy outsole rubber that was oil, slip, and electric shock resistant, and a composite carbon fibre toe for protection. It was ALL of those things. Unfortunately, the width of the shoe, despite ordering the wide version, was too narrow for me. The picture I took shows the Targhee3 Oxford hiker on the left and the Vista Energy on the right. The toe box on the Vista is not as wide and prevented me from keep them. 5 starts to Amazon.ca for making returns easy. I will probably try the Targhee3 slip on shoe next since the Targhee line seems to have the wide toe box that fits me well. The Vista would probably get 5 stars from someone without a 4E foot.

Nice shoe little tight on the opening.
Thought I try these Keens over my usual Merrell work shoes. So far comfortable but the opening is fairly tight. Not a easy slip on, hopefully they stretch. 4 stars for now

Not CSA Approved.
These are a great carbon toe shoe, very comfortable, but NOT CSA Approved, so if you need the green symbol for work. They don’t have it.
