Grandpa Can Hear Us Again
Easy set-up, easy speed dial &/or 1-touch emergency call programming; allows for in-call adjustments in both volume & tone, which can be hugely helpful for those with nerve damage or progressive hearing loss; flashing LED ringer light to also signal incoming calls; comfortable handset, easy, soft touch buttons & base itself is much lighter overall compared to older phones with the same or lesser adaptive enhancements. Works exactly as it's intended & allows for at least my favorite 95-year-old veteran who was missing even shouted words on a regular phone prior to now have full conversations again.Super easy plug-in setup, he programmed the speed dial by himself the first day he had the phone, then called to make sure it worked, so it's truly user friendly. It has been working well since & it's a huge improvement over any other phone he's had in the past 25 years. Absolutely recommend this for any older person or someone with mild to moderate hearing loss. If you're tired of repeating words or trying to reach someone who lives alone & occasionally takes their hearing aides out for fun, get them this phone. It's worth every penny!

Great for my 90 year old Mom
Large numbers and a loud ring! Exactly what we needed for my 90 year old mom!

Mom can hear us - no longer have to repeat the same words - easy to use.
Bought this for my mom who is an Octogenarian and has hearing loss. I am used to repeating everything I say three or more times and still being misheard. We set her up with this phone and a digital caller id display in series. Now she answers the phone says hello to me because she knows it is me calling due to the display. Then we have a great conversation, she fully understands and I have yet to repeat my words in over a month since she has been using this phone. It is a British made device. So I searched for user reviews in the UK. The British are known to be very critical and tough raters. This was THE best rated phone in the UK for hearing impaired and their ratings were around 90% mark. So we bought it because the UK ratings are never "over stated". We love it - Mom hears us!

Not good sending back
This phone is not good. You can’t dial out. You dial a few numbers and if your not quick enough it starts beeping a fast beep. Annoying and the elderly can’t do it ,heck I couldn’t. Don’t buy unless your planning on programming in the numbers it may work that way. It is very loud though, almost too loud it makes a noise like an echo.I’m sending back.

Works Really Well
I have a relative who's hearing has gotten progressively worse, and have tried 3 or 4 different amplified telephones. This is the first one that has been truly satisfactory. It has a very wide range of volume settings which are completely adjustable, and the highest setting is really loud. People on the other end also mention that the call comes through loud and clear. Adjustable ringer volume loud to very loud with flashing light call alert. Handset is easy to grip for anyone with small or weak hands. Very reasonably priced for what you get.

Great for seniors
Got this for my mother-in-law who doesn't do well with small buttons or modern gadgets. Since this works like more old-fashioned phones that she is used to, it works well for her. Easy for arthritic fingers to hit the correct buttons. The phone can accommodate people with some hearing loss, but that's not a problem my MiL has, so can't really say how well it works for those folks. First tried an old AT&T princess phone for her, but the senior facility uses VOIP and the old analog phone didn't work. This one plugged in and worked right away.

Tone control a excellent added feature over most amplifier phones
Tone control a excellent added feature over most amplifier phones. Large buttons easy to use, even in dim light. But, slow to make connection on picking up receiver--must pause for a second or more before mike and speaker open.

Arrived broken.
When it arrived at my mother in laws house, she plugged it in and it didn't work. She lives on a separate island, so she sent it to me, by the time i got it back, it was outside the return window.
