The tools provided were fine for this screen. The connections on iphones are incredibly small and fiddly and for an older bloke with thick fingers and needing good glasses - wow this took a bit of patience. In the end following the instructions on You Tube worked fine. the only issue I had was that one of the pentalobe screw mounts on the screen broke off, but this was not too great a problem . Contacted the supplier and a small refund was granted to compensate. At present all is working well - only fitted yesterday. The screen is very comparable to the original iphone one, and it functions fine. I was pleasantly surprised after reading previous reviews, how good the screen seems in colour, brightness and contrast. As I say early days yet, but if it continues to work I will be more than happy.UPDATE AUGUST 2020 - After six months the screen became increasingly unresponsive and in a few days I had difficulties even switching the phone off. Nothing worked. Contact LL Trader - and received no reply. Ordered another screen from eBay from other supply which arrived very quickly, works and was only £10.99 (although came with no tools). Disappointed with lack of response from LL Trader.

Super easy to fit, and display is even, clear and no dead pixels.BUT, after a bit of use it's clear the touch sensor (digitizer) is rubbish. It's basically unusable, with taps triggering buttons on other parts of the screen and swipes sending stuff flying everywhere.UPDATE: seller contact me to offer refund, but first I thought I'd check again that all connectors were properly seated. I took the phone apart, couldn't feel any obvious ill-seated connectors but gave them another good press to be sure, then put it back together and - tadaa - touch controls are all working fine. It's been well over a month and no return of the glitchy digitizer, so it must simply have been repairer error.So, from 1-star to 5-star thanks to attentive seller and, once fitted correctly, a good, clear screen

Unfortunately the one that I received did not work. There was a fault and the touchscreen only worked when it felt like it. However, the screen seemed to be well made and you get a great little kit with it and the instructions. However, I found a video on Youtube and followed that for the instructions which worked well for me.The delivery was great and it was well packaged. Overall I would say this is probably a great screen when it works correctly. Although mine was faulty and I had to send it back, I certainly would buy again should I need another one.N.B. I was refunded instantly when I returned the product.

I have no idea what “sheerness” is!! The item I received had a faulty ‘home’ button; fortunately I was able to re-use the one from the original (broken) screen otherwise would have had to return the screen for a replacement

Arrived broken. Can only see that after installation and power up. UselessPs. After writing the above I was contacted by LL Trader and confirmed refund in the way no question asked great customer service and iam ordering another one hopefully with better luckUpdate: the replacement arrived and installed.the brightness is set to maximum even when changing (the setting can be changed but the screen brightness does not change) it drains the Battery making the phone unusable.the 2 stars only for the company attitude for replacing the 1st one (no Q asked) but the screen itself does not deserve any stars .Not recommended

This is the second screen I bought after the first one wouldn’t work and cracked when replacing. I took extra care with this one and got the screen in the phone but there is a black dead spot on the screen and half the screen doesn’t display properly. Tried to remove it to check the connection and it cracked again.

screen looks great on arrival but then I find out that 2/3 connectors do not seat properly on the iphone at all - really clear. thought I was going mad so went back to my original iphone screen and re-connected that within seconds no problem, with everything working, then I tried to do it with this screen and 2/3 of the connectors just won't snap into place. be wary if you're looking for a screen, I'd suggest something more reliable

Received the product, had the screen installed by a competent person and after a week of normal use the screen has cracked and the white texture has come away from the screen. The phone has not been dropped and has a protective case
