GLENCAIRNWhiskey Glass, Set of 6 in Trade Pack

After years of bourbon tastings (and home drinking) I decided to buy these glencairns. Two things: I was drinking less since I was using smaller pours (wife likes that) and it helped enhance my bourbon experience. The size enhances your ability to take in the aroma and get the sensory experience better than an old-fashioned glass, which was what I drank (neat) before. Also, these are handy for doing tastings of multiple bottles, which is why I bought a couple sets. I like to drink my bourbon with friends/family (another excuse to imbibe), so works well with small groups.

A perfect glass to drink it from.

I have multiple sets of these. I also have one engraved for me, and have engraved others as gifts. It is my preferred glass to drink bourbon from, and really any type of whiskey. Glassware does really affect your drinking experience, the taste, and concentrate the aromas. This should cost you in the $6-$8 per glass range. With what you are paying for a nice bottle, don't ruin it by drinking out of sub-par glassware. Get these glasses.

Excellent crystal drinkware for enjoying whisky. A perfect pour will sit in the glass horizontal. If not, you’ve poured too much.

Still gorgeous and look new. Husband still loves these over all other glasses 8-6-21.I had gotten a set of these along with a very nice Scotch for my husband on our 15th anniversary and he LOVED them. We have also taken them to his brother's to drink some of the expensive Whiskey his wife's family had brought from Dubai and they all love them as well. My husband refuses to drink any of his Scotch or Whiskey out of anything but these now and often will still comment on how the glasses really do make a HUGE difference to the drinking experience. Because of this, I bought his father a set for Christmas and he seems to love them just as much.They truly catch the scent of whatever you are drinking out of them and bring it more fully to your nose. The glass is very clear and bright unlike some glasses I have bought which can have a blue or yellow tint. They say they are dishwasher safe and I HATE to do dishes so they have been washed many times in our dishwasher and still look as good as when purchased. These do not come with the glass covers that some people prefer to keep the scent in the glass between sips, but I had no real luck finding any that did come with them and have no idea if they work any better. We are very happy with these and feel they are well worth the price.I purchased the 6 glasses for ourselves and my father-in-law. They came in a Glencairn box and have Glencairn etched on the bottom of each glass.

These are the best glasses for bourbon. I would recommend these to everybody!

Purchase this for a friend who is a big time bourbon lover. He was ear to ear smiles when he opened it. Said he always wanted to get these for his high dollar whiskeys. He called me after using them and said they are very durable and the design make the fragrance of the bourbon even better.
