Well yes you will get more output OF SMOKE! These units cannot withstand 48V power supply as the capacitors are only rated for 35V max and 35V max is clearly marked on the amplifier! I measured 20V RMS clean sine wave driving a 2ohm load - that is about 200 watts RMS continuous... when they say 300 watts, that is some peak (instantaneous) rating but not continuous.
