I have tried various products over the years to kill the dreaded blanket weed, so I was a bit skeptical.I put one dose in the pond. The next day, the blanketweed appeared more ‘fluffy’ than stringy.The day after, I noticed about 7 snails floating on the top, dead.A couple of days after that, the blanketweed has gone. It turned to mush and then I presume the pond filter did the rest.So, if you’re willing to sacrifice a few pond snails, this product will clear blanketweed.

Unlike many others it didn't work straight away.It took 4 treatments over 4 weeks. Dosing as per instructions. I think the crucial thing is to put the dose in a watering can to ensure even coverage.It took its time to work. Didn't notice alot of difference after a week.After 2 weeks the algae had noticeably stopped growing and multiplying. So it seemed to be at least halting the growth.In the 3rd week is when I noticed the algae was beginning to dye back.After 4 weeks the algae was around 95% gone. What little was left was easy to remove by hand.I wonder if the algae would have dyed off anyway as I treated the pond in March. Just when the pond plants were beginning to grow. Would the plants have starved the algae after 4 weeks? I dont know.What I do know is that a pond with a real hair algae problem no longer had an issue after 4 weeks.Note I took the carbon out of the filter while treating. I also had 2 hay bales in the pond for a more natural treatment.Fish and other pond plants all unaffected by the treatment.Note also I put in some pond stabiliser before I started treatment so that the pH etc was all good.Note also water temperature was about 8'c when I started treatment and was about 15'c after 4 weeks.Probably all of the above factors contributed to the algae dying off.

It hasn't worked for me, and seems to be more algea than ever + to date, 2 koi have died. TBF, there have been a lot of good reviews and I'm chancing again, one last time. Hopefully a second dose will finally take affect with no more fish loss.

What a brilliant product, we have tried a few that just does not work. But this product, Wow.Simple to use and fast acting with no harm to the fish, which we can now see again highly recommended

Well very disappointed and upset , received product , for string algae in pond , used as directed to the letter, got up next day to find my beautiful big koi dead , thank fully only one so far , I was gutted … won’t be using this again ,

Cleared pond in 5 days but need to ensure PH is in range first

The product to clear weed from pond was as stated. Easy to use and it works.

Prodotto davvero fantastico e super efficace. La situazione prima dell'utilizzo era drammatica, non si vedeva ad un centimetro dalla superfice del laghetto. Dopo 3gg finalmente vedevo il fondo ed i pesci e l'acqua è finalmente trasparente. Consigliato!

Ha dejado el estanque con el agua clara y sin algas y va desprendiendo las del fondo. Lo recomiendo.
