Monkey Business Karoto Carrot Peeler and Curler

I received my Karoto and had to try it straight away.Though the peeler at the bottom is not the best, it does the job (half a star lost here).The "shapenner" is great, it gives a beautiful and out of the ordinary effect, plus, if you plan on boiling or glazing carrots, they cook in few minutes.The problem with the curler is the blade, it's not as sharp as would be desirable, which means you'll need a lot of strength to do anything.I found that a very useful trick is usung a small knife to help twist the carrot.It works like a charm, and would have given the missing star if the curler had such an accessory or mention in the instructions.All in all, I really like it, I'm very happy with the purchase and would by again.

Ok yes it is a gimmick, you can get a basic peeler a lot cheaper but .... This is fun! I do have a lot of colour pencils so this gadget was very appropriate for me, it has a normal peeler on the bottom and then you have the fun sharpener bit, sharpen carrots (and skinny parsnips) and then you have lots of vege shavings which you can put in salads or (as we did) spread out on a baking tray, sprinkle with a little bit of olive oil and salt and bake to make vege crisps! Great fun and my nephew loves it, excellent way to sneak in a bit of goodness and great fun to make!

Two stars not because it doesn't do the job (I mean, it's a peeler!!) but because of false advertisement.This can't be the orginal Karoto from Monkey Business, there was no packaging, just the peeler in the little plastic delivery package, coming from Laos (!?). Colour was different than advertised, more yellow than orange too. I can see the differences in the product as I own the original one too but it broke so I wanted to buy it again. The seller is Monkey Business but I'm worried is a fake name and if it's not...then their product quality lowered too much for my standards! It was a pretty cheap purchase so I will still keep it, but if you buy it just don't expect to get the item in the photos!

I saw this at a much higher price in the high street, liked it but did not want to spend as much. How do you rate a carrot peeler? it does what it says, just make sure the carrot is not too big or too small but what really counts is that it makes carrots look more fun and appetible to my kids so big thumbs up.

I got this as a gift for my nana as she has tons of different kitchen gadgets, I'm allways looking for ones she hasn't got . I came across this and it was perfect . It's a great idea very funky and somthing I haven't seen in shops. The shipping was a lot quicker than expected witch was a bouns. My nana loves it and says it works really well I think this makes a great little gift for someone and well worth the money.

tHIS PRODUCT ARRIVE SAFE AND SOUND but is a useless nitem and wish I had not boithered to buyNot amazon or company fault just not as useful and easy to use as advertised

So cute, not really big enough for cucumbers, courgette etc, unless they're pointy, then they'll fit in
