Keep on top of your maintenance
Having owned a pond for many years I thought it best to explain why I think these pads are best for the job. Firstly, if you are not careful the windows will start to go a milky white colour where they have got scratched over time with harsh rubbing. To avoid this you need to clean the windows regularly with these pads or alternatively I cut up the used one, out of the filter box, when I replace it which is the same material. Little and often is better than waiting until the windows are covered in algae. If you maintain the pond regularly then you will enjoy it for years.

For one use only
These very small little pads really are for one use only. It did a perfect job on the three windows but started to break up when I continued to use it for cleaning the pond liner. None were too bad as the pond is only 3 weeks old. I haven't looked too closely but they appear to be the same fabric as the polymer replacement pads which are situated in the cartridge at the bottom of the pump. If it is the same fabric then it would be a lot cheaper to buy a pack of replacement pads and cut them to size.

Expensive for what they are but they do clean the Affinity Windows of my Grand Half-Moon extremely well. One pad is sufficient to clean all 5 windows plus the light and sensor on the Inpond Pump.
