Bad reaction!
It left my fingers dry and cracking after just 2 days of use - it could just be me, but I have never had sensitive skin before! The smell, and consistency was good, but with how bad it left my fingers after just letting it melt in them, the product is useless to me!

I didn’t like this
It’s very solid and takes a lot of effort to break down . Also , I personally do not like the smell . Supposed to be cedar wood and lime . Smells like gloss paint .

Highly advised
I bought this beard balm so that I can shape my beard without using a beard wax and I am really happy with it. Using this balm lets me shape my beard without using sticky wax products. It softens my beard and doesn’t leave it waxy or oily. The ingredients are natural and the smell is quite subtle, I can smell the lime and the beeswax more than anything else. You use your thumb nail to collect the amount of balm you need and then rub it in your hands until it all becomes a clear liquid, and then you apply and style your beard. I use my beard comb after applying the balm and this helps if you are looking for a neat shape for your beard. It arrives in a nice looking tin container and overall I am very happy with the product.

Very dissappointing - strong unpleasant chemical smell with no scent of lime.
I have bought a cedar wood and lime beard balm previously, but from a different manufacturer (Kingsmen I think). That other one had a fantastic scent initially, but as I was getting towards the end of the container, I think it had been open too long, and lost all the lime scent, leaving just a little of the cedar wood scent, and a vaguely chemical unpleasant smell. So I bought this balm from The King Comb as a replacement. As others have noted, this balm is quite hard, but that is typical for this type of balm which uses coconut oil (or something similar). You have to work it between your fingers for a while and then it softens. However, when I opened this one, it had absolutely no lime smell whatsoever. There was nothing but a faint whiff of cedar and a strong pong of a nasty chemical scent, just as the Kingsmen balm had when it had been open for a year. I can only assume that the King Comb balm has been sitting on a shelf for a very long time, probably somewhere warm and all the good scents had long since been driven off. I wont be buying this again. Back to Kingsmen for my next tub.
