The play silk is absolutely gorgeous! My almost-7 year old and 3 year old both love playing with it. In the words of my almost-7 year old, "It could be a cape, a fort, a blanket, a canopy, a princess cloak! So many things - how could I NOT love it!!" They have constructed forts, been witches, magicians, ghosts (my 3 year old's favorite) and we've played the classic game of 2-people-shaking-the-ends-while-a-third-runs-under-it. The colors are beautiful - we bought the sea foam green color that has soft blues and greens. When my daughter uses it as a cape and runs around the house, it floats and ripples behind her. She honestly looks like a swimming mermaid. It's definitely expensive for what it is, but it's so beautiful and wonderfully open-ended. I would rather have one giant play silk for the money than 2 or 3 plastic toys adding up to the same price.

I am in love with this company!! Their silk quality is the best I have found yet and they are very environmentally conscious which is a big plus in my book. This is our first giant silk and we love it! It is perfect for my daughter’s crib right now but I can’t wait to take it outside for some playtime in nature soon. Worth EVERY penny!!

Beautiful silk... My own toddler/preschoolers adored theirs when they were little. I'm a preschool teacher, of 2-3 year-olds, and I just knew my goddaughter would love silks. Upon opening the package, I found the silks package to be cut open, and I believe the tear/cut in the fabric to be an error made by the person who packed and shipped it. Contacting seller and requesting a replacement. They're just too awesome to pass up, thus the 5 stars... But I can't gift one that's been damaged...

We have three of these and they have held up too much abuse and a lot of play. I get these for all of the little princesses in my life.

My granddaughter loves to play princess and these have given her the ability to stretch her imagination and have a blast.

I love the color of the silk and my kids enjoy playing with it. I only give it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the cost. It’s a bit pricey in my opinion. But it’s a great “toy” in that it leads to a lot of creativity.

Bought this as a gift which was shipped directly to the recipient. They seemed happy enough with it, but from the packaging, it looked like it would be rainbow colored. The silk they received was shades of green and blue only, beautiful certainly, but not rainbow. Maybe include a photo next to something for size and pattern reference? Great item for imaginative, open ended play!
