A great book for little ones to interact with and learn
This book is a great idea, well executed. Essentially a book full of blank scenes, with magnetic diggers that can be stuck to the pages. Each page has some text describing what's happening and it's up to you to put the pieces in the right places. While not a regular book our little one goes to, when read it with him he gets very involved in palcing the vehicles on the page. As well as helping him put things in context - next to the building; near the pile of sand etc he also starts to make up his own little narratives about what he's doing on the page.I'm worried that the plastic bubble that holds the magnetic pieces is a little fragile and could lead to all the pieces disappearing over time, but so far they've managed to stay together - it just requires a bit of careful stewardship.Highly recommened.

Winner in my house
I bought this for my son for christmas- he's just turned 2 and slightly obsessed with diggers.Well this book has gone down an absolute storm- he loves sticking the magnets to the pages- and has in turn learned some new words. So far he's had hours of fun reading the book and unlike sticker books that I have bought him before we can keep re-using over and over again. And it's extremely convenient that the holder for the magnets doesnt have to be ripped out of the packaging, the packaging just flips open and closed- and can be stored away again for the next play

Perfect digger book for 18m to 3 yr old plus
Bought for 20 month old son - he loves this book and gets very absorbed putting the magnets onto the pages. Now he's saying lots of words it's good for learning colours and names of different machines along with the story.Only downside is the magnets are a bit thin so he's bent most of them. But I think this is a problem with all these magnetic books and probably they're aimed at 2+ age group. But don't let that put you off, it's a minor gripe and they're all still usable. We've pretty much past the putting everything in his mouth stage so I felt this was a suitable book. I think my son also likes that it's a bit more 'grown up' than his books supposedly for their age. Imagine we will use it a lot in the next year or so.

My son simply adores this book
It robust, the magnets aren't too flimsy and as he is obsessed with diggers and trucks he will play for hours with this and its small enough to pack into a flight bag or changing bag for out for a meal. Planning on buying more as gifts for children the same age.My one and only complaint is it is a little fiddly to get the magnets back in the plastic section as they have to be placed in exactly the right way but its a fair trade off to have a book you can easily carry about.

Good book, magnets could be stronger
Bought this as a gift for my 2 year old. He loves the bright pictures and being able to arrange the diggers himself. Only criticism is the magnets aren't particularly strong, so the diggers do tend to fall out when I shut the book and pop it on the book shelf. It's better than a sticker book as he can play with it and rearrange it again and again, but he does get frustrated when they don't stick on as well as he'd like (mind you, he is 2 so everything frustrates him at times!).

Highly recommend!
Great book for toddlers/pre-schoolers! Absolutely love it as does my 2 year old. The rhymes for each vehicle are easy and fun to read. My little boy loves reciting them. This is a bedtime favourite!

Great little book for young children
Bought this intending to give to my son at Christmas but have ended up giving it to a friends little boy for his birthday. Sturdy little book with removable magnets to place on different situations within the book. Gives a book another dimension for young children to get involved in a story before they can read. Have sent off for another for my sons stocking.

... lovely book with bright and colourful illustrations and a good range of magnetic building site shapes
A lovely book with bright and colourful illustrations and a good range of magnetic building site shapes. Hours of fun rearranging and making different landscapes with the magnetic shapes. Bought for my three year old nephew who loves it. He spends ages with his Mum or Dad moving the shapes and talking about the pictures.
