Review: Great performance for a bargain price! - These are great. We have a large Ikea Kivik sofa with a corner section. I originally made upnsome wooden spacers with bolts and screws to attach these to the frame, but ended up just popping them down the back of the seat cushion, under the back cushion. You can't feel the lump at all when sitting. I'm powering them off a 70W rms per channel car amp, fed from the LFE (or .1) pre-out on my yamaha receiver. The receiver sub out has an 80Hz crossover, and the amp a 50Hz Low pass filter. This works great for my setup, and can shake the whole sofa, to the point that the floor shakes when turned up loud. I am only using them for movies, and they stay pretty cool, but beware they get pretty hot when used for bass-heavy music - you have been warned! Update: some 3 years of constant use (well, a few hours of TV a night) and the original 2 are still going strong. Movies just aren't the same without these.

**Q: How and where are you attaching this?
To back? Underneath? Wood screws in to office chair? etc. Thanks.**
A: Wood Screws or bolts are fine, depending on your setup. A gap between the bass shaker and the item you are connecting it is vital. So put some kind of spacer between, washers stacked works fine.This works buy shaking a large weight, so sometimes it protrudes further than its Chassis, requiring that space... Otherwise you limit the functionality greatly. Positioning is up to you. I have 2, one on the base of my chair, as centered as possible. And one on the back, again centered. Both screwed in with 6 wood screws and washers for spacing + grip.If you plan to use a standard 2.0 amp I highly recommend a bass crossover, which is essentially a filter for high frequencies. They can be as cheap as £10,  and stop these bass shakers acting as terrible, terrible speakers.

**Q: Can anyone suggest suitable amp for this? My intention is to conenct it to a sub channel on a PC soundcard for  use with racing sims and fps.**

**Q: can this be connected straight to my sony 5.1 dts surround sound system**
A: I have an old Sony 5.1 surround system and wired it to the subwoofer output. I just crimped 2 insulated red "push on" connector at the end of the wires and connected them to the lugs of the bass shaker.

**Q: If i wanted to run 2 of these with a lepy 2024a plus amplifier, can i run them both on one amp or am i better off getting a second amp?**
A: Cheapest amps to run these are TP113A based variants. The mono versions for a single unit or the stereo versions for two. With a decent 12-24v PSU these have ample power. They can be had for as little as £6 each..... The Lepy will run teo of these at a push but you're paying a lot more for an inferior amp in a metal box.

These do work quite well on sim vibe and for the price compared to others on the market they seemed good value which is why I purchased them. Maybe there are better ones out there but you will have to pay more for them.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bass shaker review

If you want a effect like a rumble pack from your gamepad in your chair then look no further. One is fine for office chair, i have two in my two seater sofa (one at each end) but now have ordered a third for the middle. I honestly thought this would be a gimmic, especially running from an old 5.1 home cinema amp subwoofer out. Obviously i dont have any other speakers plugged in as i have to run it with high volume for them to work (please note running them like this they run a bit like a subwoofer in the respect that i do get sound coming through, but the volume is low compared to the feeling you get. On a side note i have a hdmi swith with optical out connected to a headphone amplifer which connects to the headphone socket of my cinema amp. Probably not the most efficient way to make it work, but this was old tech i had lying around. Pit it like this i refuse to play my racing games like f1 2015 on ps4 without this turned on anymore.
