Bulb has LED's on sides and front to give excellent all round light. The bulbs are an intense and very white light. The body is predominantly metal which should help with longevity. My previous LED's were plastic bodied and this became brittle and fell apart. The bulb base is slightly fatter than normal so they are quite a tight fit in the holder but it's not an issue by any means. There are cheaper alternatives out there but providing these have a decent lifetime they are top kit for the money.NB: The picture was taken in bright sunlight.Final update: I'm now on the fourth new bulb and overall I would estimate an average life-span at about 4 months. I should add, I do more than the normal amount of driving at night. The longevity could be better but notwithstanding that they do give an excellent light.Review Update: After three months one of the two bulbs (being used as front sidelights) has failed. That is not a good life-span and a standard bulb would have lasted longer. They are excellent bulbs but based on the short longevity I have had to reduce the rated to three stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Bright, but no good in the dark! *by E***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 16 January 2018* - Nice bright white light, (6000k to 6500k)- similar/same size and form factor as original halogen (so it'll fit6)- Don't expect any light output on the road (even at night)So, if you want a white light for aesthetics on your car, get these. But if you want your sidelights to be somewhat powerful and light the way ahead of you a few metres, these are not your best bet.That being said, they are WHITE when installed, and go well with a 6500k dipped beam & fog. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Bright.
