PentelZ2-1N Eraser Refills - Pack of 4

The eraser that came with my pencil has so far lasted years but I bought these refills for the future. Now, these aren't going to erase a full page Naruto/Sailor Moon fan art masterpiece (nor would you want it to!) but for spelling errors and such they work just right.cons: they don't seem to be able to erase regretful life choices from 20 years ago when you did that thing that totally messed everything up for you and everybody around you. I'm so, so sorry, Lady Thatcher.

I bought these just in case they were needed in the future and the price seemed too good to miss. However, each eraser is far shorter than those supplied with the pencils (13mm instead of 21mm) which is somewhat disappointing.

Just as the other reviews say, the erasers are quite small, smaller than the actual eraser fitted into pentel mechanical pencils. But if you are like me, who has various sized rubbers and rubber pens and sometimes use the mechanical pencil rubber top, then it's handy to have one of these guys lying around. I understand why there are four erasers. I've used one of the erasers (I fitted one into a Pentel Sharp P205) and they are still of the same quality I know of. The delivery was rapid and the packaging was superb. I'd recommend these while they are still being sold - it's just one of those things you need to have in your pencil case :).

They are nearly half the length of the the original Pentel mechanical pencil erasers that come with the pencils. In that sense, they are quite expensive for what I paid for. However, they are still useful for the times when you don't want to/forgot to carry around a block of eraser with your pencil. I like the fact that I can actually get replacements for the mechanical pencil's built-in erasers. Not many other brands have this option. And Pentel mechanical pencils are good. I bought quite a few from Amazon. Will continue using and buying these erasers.

These erasers fit the pencil well and are a good quality eraser. Unfortunately, they are about half the size of the original one that comes with the pencil and therefore is used up very quickly.

These little erasers fit into the end of my mechanical pencil and with replacement leads mean that the pencils can last indefinitely.They are great but one big problem is that they came from China and so took weeks to get to me and goodness knows how many air miles.Just because we can transport things around the world doesn't mean that we should.I'd like Amazon to offer alternative suppliers of products on a 'least air miles' list, that way we'd be better informed before we buy.

I don't think they're the same size as the original that comes with the pencil. They seem pretty small and get used up far too quickly. I wouldn't buy this again.
