TG6 and this item have just arrived - it does not fit (too narrow) - why not?

Hi Lizzie. The LG-1 is fully compatible with the TG6 (Olympus UK website). In order to fit it you have to remove the ring (which is there on the camera when delivered) around the lens by pushing the button (4 o'clock position) and then rotating the ring. The LG-1 then slots into place and has to be rotated until the button locks. Do ensure that your flash is turned permanently off when the LG-1 is in place. It is worth looking at the instructions for both the LG-1 and the TG6; if you do not have hard copies, then they are available for download from Olympus UK website. I hope this helps.

Is this compatible with tg6 ?

I should think so , the design of the camera hasn’t changed and we are still using the TG-3 after so many years ,we have used it under water too , but I can not 100% say it will fit , hope this helps .
