Mora Companion knife and plastic sheath.
The Mora knife is a good bit of kit and is the second one ive bought. This blue colour as so the rest of bright colours wont get easily lost. A good starter knife for bushcraft, great for food prep, great in bug in or out bag and great for hiking or camping. It comes sharp but i always strop mine then it becomes really sharp, ready for cutting tasks. Not recommended for anything like batoning wood, but good for every other task. At the low price it wont break the bank and you should have one if your camping or fishing etc, as very useful. This one is stainless steel so shouldnt rust,my other is carbon steel with a little forced patina brings out the carbon in blade. Both i recommend, colours just add a new element and a varied choice.Buy one and see. Note not full tang but doesnt effect the use of this knife, mora have sold thousands,or more.

Amazing knife!
I have a few of these now and all i can say is that Mora produce really good quality knives for the money. They come pretty sharp, sharp enough for everything you would use it for but if you spend 10 minutes on a stone you can cut hairs in half no problem. These are durable knives, i've smashed the living daylights out of some of them and as of yet none have broke. I've battoned with this knife and it still looks like new.

You won't get more knife for your money elsewhere
Top knife for the price! Plastic grip is non-slip, sheath good fit with safe click plus blade arrives super sharp and is easy to keep sharp too.We use a green version for bushcraft / outdoors but this is our favoured camping / travelling kitchen companion.

Ok
Purchased two of these. One arrived razor sharp, the other one was not. Both became blunt very quickly and personally I think they are a little over-hyped. They are, however, a very good price and the bright coloured options will not be lost easily.

Excellent all-round
Bought because my son used one in his whittling and outdoor craft lessons at school. Very sharp when it was delivered, I will be using it for fishing and camping. A good weight, comfortable in the hand and the sheath is a good fit with firm attachments. Why pay more?

Budget knives don't get better than this
Once again morakniv exceeds already high expectations. Beautifully crafted and well designed knife. Even with being 3/4 tang and a plastic handle the balance of the knife is surprisingly good. I still use my one I bought ten years ago. This one was bought for my partner and it's nice to see that the sheath has been improved upon and works even better now.

Strong & comfortable
Easy to use, sharpen and bright colour adds to the safety. Used for whittling and some carving work. Teaching knife used by my 6year old.

A classic company that competes with anything available today.
If you are unfamiliar with Mora, they are simply one of the best outdoor or utility products for the price in the entire world. They are ergonomic, sharp, durable, and inexpensive. Yes you can do light batoning with one, but get a Cold Steel Tanto or something else thick and blocky if you're trying to turn a Sequoia into kindling. No that is not a Cold Steel endorsement. The Swiss make outstanding knives, watches, Opinels (yeah, French, but they're always lumped in). My wife also mentioned their blondes and even though I like brunettes and she's a brunette I have to agree.I recently purchased a Mora for each of my brothers. They love them. Both loved the ergonomics and sharpness out of the box. My middle brother, who has enormous bear paws, said it was the most comfortable knife he'd held and compared the grip to a diving knife. I went with the Sandvik stainless because it's always nice not to have to put a patina on a knife, but also because it is regarded as a high quality steel. Yes it's stamped out, but it's still excellent. Easy to sharpen and holds the edge well.I considered other models, but the Robust was only available in carbon steel and both the carbon and stainless in the lower Allround models (5-somethings) have terrible sheaths. I believe every single person that has ever owned the #2 or Classic has cut their index finger off. Every one. Okay, I don't believe that. But those are still pretty dangerous. The Companions with stainless were pretty much the best option. I like the hole in the bottom of the sheath so water doesn't pool in the bottom while you're away from camp or home and can't clean them up. The sheath retention is also excellent. Ergonomics as mentioned are also excellent.I chose the cyan/teal-ish color because I read that's one of the most visible colors in the outdoors. A safety orange knife might be easy to find on a job site, but don't get too far away from one in Ohio in the fall. Same goes with red.In short, this is a very well made and capable knife that doesn't put the owner at a disadvantage in the outdoors and I'm glad I purchased them for my family. I will purchase more. First impression everyone has out of the box is that the blade is thin, but it is effective. Full tang would be nice, as well. But the knives do all that's asked of them and more.I honestly think a Robust with the Sandvik Stainless would be the best fixed blade knife for the money in the world. But the Companions are up there.

Great all-purpose knife
This knife is razer sharp right out of the box. The sheath is solid and holds the knife well. This is my knife of choice for camping and hiking as it's not expensive (if it gets lost, I can buy another) but is well constructed enough to perform almost any duty I can throw at it. From making marshmallow roasting sticks or cutting up a tomato, it's very handy! I have the stainless steel version which has kept it's edge since I purchased it.

Zu Recht gehyped
Kannte die Messer bis vor kurzem nicht. Was soll man dazu sagen?
