SIGEL GL141 Premium Glass magnetic Board / White Board, glossy surface, 100 x 65 cm, easy mounting, super White - Artverum

We needed a magnetic wall board for my wifes psychology client work. Initially we didn't know much about these things and we were going to get one of the standard non-magnetic ''£35 quid'' cheapo ones - you know, with the cheap aluminium border, non-glass. But they look so cheap and nasty. So, ok lets spend more and go quality. And this product is just that. From arrival, box much bigger than the product, and deeper. Inside the well packed box is a ''plywood thick picture frame'' in to which sites the bubblepacked and edge protected product - perfectly packed/protected for shipping. Open it carefully of course and there it is. Mounted is easy. Included is a template to mark up two fixing holes, just use a spirit level - drill a 2 mm pilot hole and then a 6 mm one then screw the circular mount to the wall. I recommend have 2 people then slide the board over the two fixings and gently click in to place. The supplied magnets, keep 10cm apart from each other to prevent them attracting each other. The board in place looks fantastic, very low profile barely sticks out from the wall. Immediately each of her clients have commented how nice/professional it is. Not cheap, but if you want to impress - way to go.

1) First delivery poor - outside packaging dented & whiteboard chipped. Ordered replacement via Amazon and it arrived 2 days later. No fuss with this process & all fine this time. Lovely bit of kit.2) The magnets you use really do need to be extra strong. I had ordered some that appeared to be strong from reviews - they are indeed crazy strong compared to standard magnets when you stick them on a radiator or fridge door, however when offered up to this whiteboard they only just stick. The supplied magnets are fine and will hold pamphlets etc readily.3) Installation is easy. However, DO NOTE that if the wall you are mounting the board on is not 100% flat then the board will wobble when you write on it / use it. To overcome this - if mounting on an uneven wall - it is necessary to mess around with some sort of space fillers (eg: self-adhesive tabs) to level things up behind the scenes. Not a problem but be prepared for it. This comment is based on the 78x48cm model which only has two mounting points - the larger version(s) may have more points of contact?

Amazing product. Came on time, in perfect condition.The board is high quality (proof that you get what you pay for), modern floating design, extremely useful.Installation was easy, instructions and all pieces are in the box. Took 15 minutes from unpacking to being installed.I use mine to write notes, key dates and have messages. It’s magnetic so can also be used to display photos.Everyone has complimented the style, use and quality.Would repurchase again.

This magnetic board looks great in out kitchen.... Yes it's quite expensive, but it does finish off the kitchen, so is definitely worth it. Word of caution....the magnets are really strong, and they do scratch the glass if you are nor careful - this is mentioned in the accompanying documentation, which is why there is no marking down of the review score, but I didn't really think it would mark the glass - but it does!

Very smart, professional, great colour, good packaging. A little expensive but is good quality. Wish I had brought a larger size for my own requirements. Easy to clean, magnets look smart. Likely to buy another one in the future once I've saved my pennies!

This is a really stylish board. It looks great. It seems well made.Bad points:- It was difficult to mount on the wall. No template is provided for where to drill holes and we found it tricky to get it right (probably just us being useless at DIY).- We bought these to replace our office whiteboards, but we ended up swapping these out for the white version of the same board. The black version requires chalk markers which are hard to rub off (you need a cloth and some cleaning solution). This doesn't sound like a major problem, but in an office environment we found the black boards weren't being used because nobody could be bothered to go to the effort of scrubbing off what was on there. The white version can be written on using dry wipe markers which just rub off with a board rubber or cloth.Despite these points, I've still rated it as 4 stars though because I still think it's a good board. Just bear in mind what you're using it for and if you will be able to cope with the extra effort required to clean it. I think it would suit uses where the text on the board doesn't need to change quite as often (e.g. a cafe menu).

I like the glass board because it was something abit different and the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars, is because I thought it would be thicker. The picture was quite deceiving.

We bought two of these (red and black). If a "white" board can be cool then this is the product for you - they look great! Easy to put up, wipe clean with no problem - might be a tad sad but we love them. You will need strong magnets though which are easily available from your friendly amazon store or Sigel themselves (I think you get 2 magnets with each board)
