Cetaphil does contain parabens, which I used to avoid after some vague news of potential health risks of these cosmetic preservatives. After a bit of research I found these claims were actually overblown so do not worry that some of my products contain them. I have combination skin and this stuff keeps it balanced. It doesn't dry it out and I don't suffer break outs like I did before using it. This is my third bottle so I'm definitely a fan and my husband and our teenage son now use it. If you're thinking of trying it I'd say go for it, you can always switch back to your usual skincare routine if it's not for you.
