Bought this Soldering and Electronics Kit for myself for various D.I.Y jobs. Pleased to say that it’s still as good as the day I purchased it. Word of warning though.....please be extremely careful of the soldering iron as a few weeks ago it slipped off the metal rest and without thinking I grabbed the HOT end so it didn’t burn anything ! Even though it was only in my hand for a matter of seconds it burnt my little finger quite deeply and left a white mark quickly followed by a large blister which eventually burst and had scabbed over, it has left a scar now even though my finger has healed. I learnt the hard way that a couple of seconds ( max ) is all it takes for this and probably all soldering irons to cause quite a serious burn. Apart from that I’d highly recommend buying it.
