Does exactly what it claims to do. Good, flexible design, one of a couple of tools that, combined, saved me thousands over going to a repair shop. Does require a bit of thinking to get the right angles depending on your screw locations. Pay close attention to your angle of compression! Trying to compress at the wrong angle will bend a valve stem or damage seals and valve guides.

Works on a pentastar 3.6 or 3.2 in this case, added pics of how I set it up

Everything was in perfect order

Pentastar 3.6l DOHC. It was the right hand (very back of engine compartment ) exhaust cam that had the broken valve spring....managed to make it work with the engine still in the vehicle.Of note, for some reason they only put three bolts of the two sizes that are included. We were able to get another bolt at the hardware store. Also, I had to buy a different sparkplug adapter for the valve air pressure. My engine needed a 12/14 size. The pin holding the compressor to the handle does tend to slip out. We used a little electric tape to hold it on and had no issues.

I bought the wrong kit so It didn't work for me but looked to be built tough and should do the trick

For the price you can't really go wrong. All the parts are well enough made to handle most DIY jobs.Each application is different...I ended up welding some brackets to make things fit specific motors and also bought an assortment of bolts and washers. Not a big deal because i can use this for whatever motor I am working on and don't mind modifying it to work for each one.This kit is great but remember "universal" will mean you probably need to get a little creative to make it fit/work right for your application
