I was a sceptic - not now
I already have a pair of cheap binoculars and had tried to replace them with a pair that was double the value of my original pair, these were sent back as were not any better. I had done much research and to be honest unless your in the field actually using them you are not going to know how good they are, so all that can be a waste of time, customer reviews swayed me in the end. I got the Celestron 71406 TrailSeeker pair for Christmas and to be fair I am impressed although they are 5 times what my original pair cost, they are so much better all-round the clarity of the image is very good the speed of focus the quality of the build plus the accessories that come with them all make up for a good package, they are heavier than I thought they would be, but I see that as a sign of a quality build. I would recommend these purely on performance and image quality, ideal for bird watching and for general viewing, value for money definitely.

Amazing Clarity, Ease of Use. A Quality Item.
I made the decision to purchase the Celestron Trailseeker binoculars on the basis of the reviews and am so thankful for people taking their time to share them, as I am absolutely delighted. In my perspective, for the price, they are of a high standard of quality and have a good weightiness in your hands without being too heavy. I have already thoroughly enjoyed watching birds flying or pottering about. I got them for spotting orcas and dolphins, though if they were to be closer to the horizon line than the shore line, I may want to get a higher zoom spec in future to get a close enough view. If you’re not needing them for too far then I would say this is an excellent set of binoculars.

good optics, easy to use.
Bought at very short notice, as lost my Steiner binoculars, not as light as my previous Steiners, used very heavily by two of us, and lent to others on Arctic trip, easy to use between people, optics good, didn't fog, seawater splashed didn't seem to stain outer lenses, decent array of extras, plastic eye pieces could get in the way unless well folded back. Image stability good, and was able to spot whiteish wildlife on snow. So 4.5 stars, due to heaviness, but would recommend, they are well reviewed on non amazon sites, not cheap but a big step up over cheap and cheerful bins. !0 days of heavy use in challenging conditions, no problem; dealt with glare well too.

Good decision, good choice.
For all round general use these binoculars are the right size, the right weight, the right price. They are optically perfect (in my view!) and give sharp, focused, clear images. They feel quality and are strong and sturdy in your hand. The carrying case, neck straps etc are also of good quality. In my opinion these binoculars actually do what they were intended to do and have met all my expectations......how refreshing is that? Would thoroughly recommend to others.

as good as Sw********ki
wow, what can I say, just done 2 weeks in the outer he's with these stunning bins, they are exceptionally good, clear and the operation os so so smooth. 10x magnification is superb. I cannot honestly fault these bins.. a few have said thelense covers get on their nerves, mine haven't, I just fold them down, and fixed the eye pice cover to the strap so t sits out of way when using. brilliant VFM and I showed a gent on holiday who has the £1100+ ones and he truly said these are as good. would nt hesitate to recommend these

Excellent optics
Really impressed with these. I have had trouble with compact bins getting lined up and getting a clear proper image. These were easy to adjust and had no problem getting both eyes lined up. Image was really bright and clear. Very good value for a pair of bins fully waterproofed and anti-fog (Nitrogen-filled).

High Quality!
It has easy to use functions and has an impressive field of view, range and focus. I love the design and the waterproofing and have been lucky enough to see a Golden Eagle, Sea Eagle, Buzzard, Raven and more. It has enough weight and has a good casing to keep it protected, you can equip a tripod to it make it even steadier and is good for tracking.

Not sharp
Not as Sharpe as described, the scope ony rifle is much sharper, my friend bought some Hawk binoculars and they are much better for the same price.
