These things are so sturdy and strong and are able to hold my entire hair up😭🙏🏽 I kid you not these things are actually unreal and are so worth the money! You get what you pay for and as someone with thick ahh hair, this big clip does its job! It is a lil bulky but nothing out of this world and is easy to open. It also doesn’t make my head hurt like those that have the silicone matte finish. These slide on and off and I appreciate that. Def a must buy if you’re a long and thick haired girly w straight hair!

This is the BEST hair clip for long and thick hair! My hair is long- all the way down my back, and this clip is the only thing that holds it all day long, without any slippage or needing to have it redone. It’s also super comfortable- it doesn’t weigh my hair down, or pull on my scalp.Bonus- my three year old daughter has hair down to her waist, and this clip will hold her hair in a bun all day long. It stays through nap time AND swimming. I am ordering a second one so we both can have this clip and don’t have to take turns.

I have incredibly thick, long hair that goes down to my lower back. Have always had a hard time finding a clip that fits all my hair into a bun but these absolutely hold and don’t fall throughout the day. Note that I do the “fold” method instead of “spiral” when putting into a bun, and clip it towards the bottom of my bun. It doesn’t budge. They seem like they will last a long time (I hope!) Even so, it is definitely worth purchasing again.

I bought this clip for the first time at Ulta years ago. I use it for work and tend to be hard on things while working so it did fall apart eventually. (I wouldn't consider what I do as normal wear and tear). It's the first clip and only one I've ever found that I can actually put up my hair which is long and fine and it doesn't budge all day. The design is great. I buy 2 a year. Recently I bought one again only to be disappointed. The one I bought the prior year and I've used for 6 months had a stronger spring than the new one that came in the mail. SO obviously something changed in the design. I'm ordering another and hoping it was just a fluke. Otherwise I'm going to go through more 🥲. Will still use the one I just bought but it's only good for non work related things...like around the house or going out for fun. Work related I run the chance of my hair falling into something it shouldn't.

FINALLY!!! found a clip that can hold all of my hair!I have waist length, slightly wavy, coarse, thick hair that often breaks most hair ties and is hard to put up in a casual style that keeps it off my shoulders and back.I’ve tried a lot of other “octopus style” clips that promise to hold all of my hair, but none have actually worked and not snapped in half.I’d highly recommend this clip. I wear it nearly every day and it really feels like it grips well and won’t fall out if I shake my head.If you are skeptical like I was, give it a shot. I have nothing negative to say about this product.

Purchased these clips June 2023. Have used them nearly every day. They're still going strong. Love that the claw is flat against the head, so it doesn't dig in and it's not painful.

Bought one of these clips 7 years ago at Ulta and have been looking for them ever since to purchase more. After 7 years the clip finally broke and I didn't think I would be able to find them anywhere again. On whim, checked Amazon and it is exactly the same one I purchased yeara ago and is perfect for staying in place to hold up long, thick hair. The curved design of the clip makes it comfortable enough to sleep with it in your hair. My hair is extremely thick and about 16 inches long. I pull all of my hair up completely off my neck in just one clip and it will hold all day long.
