if your keyboard is beginning to show its age you can't go wrong with this replacement. The keys on mine were falling off and I was quoted £150 to have it 'repaired'. I was told I could buy a keypad and put it in myself for £60. I bought this for less than £10 and it was post free! This is an exact replacement for the British Presario CQ56 keyboard.Don't worry about installing it yourself, I'm not a computer buff, but I found a video of how to replace the keyboard on-line. The most difficult part was easing out the old keyboard but a very small flat ended screwdriver will do the trick. [check out a video online to see if self replacement is for you -but it really is easy].£10 for a virtually new laptop can't be a bad thing, it was very easy to change so if your keyboard is playing up, give this a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed! PS the advert says delivery 2-4 weeks but mine arrived through the letterbox on day 2 [in very sturdy packaging].

Great, and easy to install

Bought this as a replacement for an HP G62, as the 'F' key didn't work on the laptop. Easy to fit (5 mins) and looks perfect - I have examined the OEM one and this one very closely for differences - the only thing I can see is on this one the Caps Lock key is marked 'shift lock' as opposed to 'caps lock' on the original. That's really it - the look, feel and fit is otherwise identical.With my 'F' key working properly now, I am delighted to be able to add all sorts of additional words to my typing repertoire.Highly recommended.

Perfectly fitting a HP G62 model. Easy to install and if you follow some of the videos available in youtube or similar for installation of key boards, it is rather easier than anyone would have thought. Keyboard is easy to use, and the laptop looks like 'brand new' after the keyboard is installed. Thus, no hazzle and fully recommended to anyone who has a problem with their keyboard (for an HP G62 laptop!).

Just as I hoped it would be - identical with the one it replaced. Extraordinary next day delivery service. What could be better!

It arrived quickly and took minutes to fit, no soldering required. (Look online, lots of video tutorials showing you how) This was months ago, it's still working perfectly.
