An effective and safe cleaner and degreaser
The bottle of Isopropanol was delivered promptly and was intact without any damage. It comes with a childproof cap which was easy to remove by pressing down whilst unscrewing. I used it to clean a mirror and I'm confident that it is pure because it didn't leave any trace of a deposit or film. I bought it for cleaning glass and degreasing a wide variety of surfaces and for this it is excellent. Please note that one reviewer claimed the bottle does not contain a full 1 litre and included a picture showing that it only weighed 824 grams, including the bottle. However, Isopropanol does not weigh as much as water and 1 litre of isopropanol will only weigh 785 grams, not 1000 grams like water would. I weighed the 1 litre that I received and including the plastic bottle it weighed 838 grams so I'm quite sure I did actually receive a full 1 litre.Isopropanol is a fairly safe solvent to use on most plastics but will effectively dissolve oil and grease and stick residues left by some labels. Some reviewers have mentioned using it to remove nail (polish) but the proprietary products that you buy for this contain acetone, which is not the same as isopropanol. Acetone will melt some plastics.Note that whilst it is safe to use on most surfaces it is flammable. When rating I was prompted to award a star rating for adhesion and scent. I've rated them as 5 although it is not a glue so doesn't actually adhere to anything and it smells like isopropanol should which isn't unpleasant but not the scent you would want like perfume.

Many uses and applications, good value for money but watch out for the fumes.
This stuff is pretty great, I bought it about 8 months ago and use it often and for many things and I still have about 20% left, its definitely great value for money, another benefit is you can add water to dilute it if for some reason 99% is too concentrated or strong.-The good:1. Sterilising, as far as I understand it will kill germs as long as you allow it to dry and evaporate on its own which it doesn't take long, between a few seconds and a few minutes depending on how you use, best to not use a cloth.2. Cleaning, I've used it so far to clean off dirt, dust, permanent marker, ink, smudgy fingerprints, leftover sticky residue (from tape, stickers etc), oil and even light rust (it can't 'fix' rust, but it can clean off the worst of it, if wanted), I've used it for many more things but I think the current list is long enough to get the general idea.3. Cheap, it's seriously good value, I use it very, very often and still have some left, I think it's amusing that when I first got it I thought 1 litre was far too much for what I needed and it would never get used.4. Safety-cap, I suppose it is worth mentioning the cap is a safety cap, you need to apply downward pressure and turn to open it, but really... if you have kids you should make sure they never get their hands on it anyway.5. Repairs, well not so much repairs but it is suitable for PC work and hardware, I messed up a thermal paste application to an AMD CPU once and got it on the pins, I poured a small amount of the alcohol into a shallow plastic tub and put the CPU in pin-side down, gently shaked it for about 2 minutes and then removed it, I then got another tub and filled it with fresh clean alcohol, placed the CPU in again to clean it off and then allowed it to air dry, thankfully the CPU worked fine after I installed it, however please do not take what I've said for granted, maybe I got lucky as I only did the alcohol bath as a last resort and the gold plating is permanently discoloured but seems to be working fine nonetheless. The bad:1. Fumes, probably to be expected at 99.9% pure but the fumes are pretty damn strong, if you keep about a metre away you probably won't smell it but if you have to work very near it, like when it's been applied to a facial pad to clean something, you may want to try holding your breath and turn your head away from it to take a breath, I'm not kidding, it really is that strong.

Ideal for cleaning resin 3D prints, but also really useful for miniature painting.
I use this for cleaning 3D prints made with any non-water-washable resins. It will also remove residue from water washable resin, so I use it for general cleaning of the printer and accessories too.The price is reasonable, and about the cheapest I could find in a liter bottle. Buying in larger containers is more cost-effective, but I mainly use water-washable resins, so I didn't think I'd need more than a liter. How wrong I was...I also discovered that this IPA will remove acrylic paint from plastic miniatures and models, without any detrimental effect to the plastic or the glue used. It doesn't seem to affect epoxy or superglues either, so it's ideal for stripping old metal miniatures without them falling apart. I found that a five-minute soak in IPA and a scrub with a toothbrush was enough to bring a miniature back to bare plastic or metal. Finally, I have used this IPA to 'resurrect' many old miniature paints - particularly those in the octagonal pots used by Games Workshop years ago. If the paint is gooey but not completely solid, a small amount of IPA will thin it back out without making it watery.Oh, and because it takes old paint off, it's great for rescuing old brushes, and even cleaning up the work station.Basically, this stuff is incredibly useful for any sort of modelmaking and minature painting, and I really don't know why I've never come across it before.

Nearly perfect.
It arrived next day.It wasn't packed very well, just a minimal bit of paper stuffed in the box. Luckily enough it survived the journey with no leakage. My only small complaint is it leaves a small amount of residue when it evaporates. The residue can easily be wiped off to leave a clean smear free surface. This might not be ideal if you are using it to clean a processor before applying thermal paste as the surface should be totally clean and dust free. Using a cloth to wipe off the residues could reintroduce dust or small fibres to the surface of the processor.
