Good high quality controller
At first i download the new version of framewere at relopp web' did and completed the update, then i ran some issue with conecting the controller to dj softwere like mapping issue the after doing some research online found a info on vitrual dj form i think or web, that resolve my issue quick. Is that the usb cable when you put it on the back of the controller on side B make suere thats the swiches on top of the gain nobs on the mixer is turn in the B side and after i did that everything lightd and 2 decks turn on and load a song on the 2 decks and i was mixing. But the only Cons is that the master volume nob lake 15/20 percent turn up thats when you start hearing the music. But other tsn that everything is working fine with Vitrual Dj and Deejay Pro Softwhere. May be this info could help someone that hsve the same o similar issue with the mixion 8pro'

Can I have a Mixon 8 that is the size of a Buddy?
The media could not be loaded. I bought a Buddy in April and it has been solid at letting me mobile DJ in different cities. I pop the controller in my backpack along with a USB power block, Headphones, UE Boom speakers, and some wires, and I am omw!The Mixon 8 offers the pro version of Reloop controllers, but I wish it had all the build and features in something more compact and lighter like the Buddy. Maybe a 16-18 in width and 8-10 lbs? Also, the iPad dock is too small on the Mixon 8, but is correct in the Buddy. I have to remove my iPad from it's case to use the Mixon 8 :-/. Also, I'm having the master volume issue, but I move it entirely up and entirely down and for some reason that syncs and fixes it. It would also be preferable to have USB-C power instead of a proprietary cable.I received the Mixon 8 a week ago, and I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep it. I don't know in which setting I'd use it. Even if I had a pro gig, it'd be hard to convince the venue to let me use my controller instead of the in-house Pioneer controllers (bleh). Whereas with the Buddy, I've cleared space in a pro-setting and used the Buddy - but the sound isn't pro and it only has 2-channels/decks.I would love a Mobile Mixon 8 - until then, I'm unsure about the Mixon 8 for my needs.

Wanted to love this controller, but it has a critical flaw
Unfortunately, I’ve concluded that the Reloop Mixon 8 Pro controller has a severe design flaw with the jogwheels, which appears to be a widespread hardware issue that the manufacturer has not acknowledged, to my knowledge. To clarify, this is a hardware issue with the controller and not related to software. In both Djay Pro and Serato DJ Pro, I’ve experienced playback stopping abruptly as if the jogwheel was being held down. This issue has occurred almost every time I’ve used the controller, even during live gigs, forcing me to instant double the halted deck to the other side to resume playback. This is completely unacceptable and severely undermines any trust in both the controller and the brand. When I contacted support, they provided a newer firmware that did not resolve the issue. Their only further response was to request additional videos of the problem, despite my already having sent two. They then suggested I contact American Music & Sound, their US distributor, who offered nothing more than an RMA.I have since returned the faulty unit to Amazon and declined replacements after extensive research revealed widespread issues with even replacement units. This is quite unfortunate because I really wanted to like this controller. It checks many boxes for me, including full native Djay Pro support, mobile compatibility with an iPad stand, in-jog displays, and FX paddles. However, its critical flaw has ultimately led me to lose faith in this product and the brand and I'm now looking at alternatives.Until this issue is acknowledged and resolved, I cannot recommend the Reloop Mixon 8 Pro.

Avoid
Such a disappointment. For a device specifically made to use with Algoriddim Djay, this falls incredible short.- plugging in the device has conflicts with the software’s mixer- the headphone port is extremely static, to the point where the is no way you could DJ a show with this disfunction- the crossfader glitches. A lot.Multiple times I would have the track on deck 1 and the fader would be on deck 1 and out of nowhere, audio cut out. Switching the cross fader to deck 2 solved it .. but the track was still on deck 1!Make it make sense.Had high hopes for this and was let down tremendously.

I've had two of these fail me in two months! ☹️
The media could not be loaded. I love this unit. Especially since the 5.0 DJ Pro update. But...... this is the second unit, I've had fail me in less than 45 days. 😕. The first unit came with a short in the channel and cross fader. This is very problematic when using the CrossFader FX because the short caused the FX to malfunction. This second unit (as you can see in the video) has a cross fader that just came loose in the body of the mixer. Only after a month of use and the use was just in home with one gig in the field. Unfortunately access to the crossfader means taking the whole unit apart and it's so new, I'm just going to make a claim. This would have been catastrophic it happened at a show. Not dependable. And that is very unfortunate for a unit at this price point.
