This is a great attachment! I read most of the reviews and decided to give it a try. It's a really good product. Fits well in my vacuum. I was tired of paying a lot of money every time something break. I would highly recommend this product.

The original piece on my Dyson V8 quit working due to a loose part. I searched extensively trying to find a replacement made to work well on both hardwood and carpet since I will cover both types of flooring in any quick clean up. This works fine on the hardwood but is very much lacking on any type of carpet or rug. You can tell in the feel of using the vacuum that the suction is not on par and when I'm going over rugs it is very obvious that this isn't doing the job. I did multiple sweeps over a piece of string without it ever picking up even when I switched to the stronger suction setting. It is not picking up general fuzzies on rugs either as I can take my shoe and rake the fuzzy pieces that I just vacuumed over. On carpet, it leaves a trail and does pick up some but it is not a consistent pick up across the width of the piece. I was trying to avoid paying for the more expensive Dyson brand name replacement part. At a cost of @ $40, I would say try different or go with the actual Dyson.

I wore out my roller that came with the stick vacuum. After reviewing options I decided to buy this whole head and roller system. Glad I did. Threw the old away and plugged this one in and voila! Works better than I expected plus I got a light! I’m happy!

Does an ok job. This vacuum head is smaller than the original and it doesn work nearly as good as OEM.

Save ur $ and buy the dyson replacement head. This is definitely not as good.

My 3-year old Dyson floor motorhead was broken, so I had to search for a replacement. The genuine part is a way of expensive and might not last for over 3 years. I am glad to find this replacement motorhead floor attachment, which works even better than the origin one with the led lights. It is fully compatible and functional well.

Works ok but a very poor substitute for the original motor head. RPM’s are a fraction of the original and the head design is poor, resulting in the brush head getting stuck at an angle and you have to step on it to get it back to the floor. I would not recommend at all. Go head and pay the extra $$ and get the original instead. It will be money well spent. That’s what I am doing.

It is great replacement. I find it works better than original one in my opinion. The rolls are better, so it more flexible, it quiter and the lights are huge upgrade. Happy with my purchase!

Returned mine. Main reason roller bar too small. Almost 1 1/2 inches shorter that original. Ok if you only have a small rug surface.. I opted to buy an original.
