RoyalFire 4.5kw DEFRA Approved Cast Iron Solid Multifuel Wood Burning Stove

I have been using this for a couple of weeks in my living room and very happy with it. The hotter it gets, the easier and longer the wood burns for, I have only used wood so far but am aiming to use coal too. It keeps the living room nice and warm without having to put the radiator on, ideal for me being in the house during the day,when I can't warrant having the heating on for the whole of the house.

Bought this for my Man cave (which is still under construction) and still awaiting parts to fire this up.The arrival of this item was quick and on schedule and the packaging was top notch quality. The whole burner is very heavy and solid. Everything works as it should. Very happy customer!

Managed to buy when in sale so got a good price, was fully aware of the size as we brought it as a direct replacement, for the money spent it seems a good unit, you do need to chop your wood small as the burn area is very small. to small to do an overnight re-light, have tried a couple of times with coal and wood but just had a few embers in the ashtray in the morning.The only point i would question is 5.5kw output ? once the unit has warmed and your burning with dancing flame, it gives good heat but personally closer to 3.5kw.We followed the instruction for a small burn to seal the unit for several days, the 1st burn there was an odour but nothing that you would not expect.Overall pleased with the unit at present.

I did alot of reading up before purchasing my stove. Read all the reviews, the good and bad and am delighted to say this stove is just what I needed. I am so pleased with it. It arrived very quickly, and I live in the Isle of Skye, so alot earlier than expected, It was well packed with no damage on arrival. It was several days before it was fitted as I had to purchase several pieces of pipe and the chimney flue., which took a bit longer. It has been fitted infront of a cast iron fire place so the flue was quite complicated and I was worried that the smoke might not draw as well but I have had no problems. My only dislike was the smell for the first few times it was lit, I did know it would happen so I was prepared but it was pretty awful. After a few days the smell has gone and I love my stove and the heat it gives out for being quite a small stove. The difference in the dust from my open fire is fantastic, hardly any at all and only using a quarter of fuel. I highly recommend this stove to anyone who has a medium size room.

Lovely little multifuel burner .quickly dispatched to our home .well packed in a wooden creat.I fitted it a couple of days ago in our snug. When it arrived i thought it could be to small . But it proved me wrong gives off loads of heat.living in the Scottish Highlands in an old cottage can get very cold .This little baby has made the world of difference really cosey . Would recommend a bit of coal after lighting and drop a log on now and then very afficiant third of a bucket of coal and three logs will last all evening .I think if you close it right down after loading with coal it would last all night . Little beauty . Well happy with it 😊😊

Legs would not fit because holes were in wrong place!My fitter said it was not fit for purpose, very unsafe and because the feet were mis- aligned could potentially cause the burner to topple.Returned for refund.

Very warm did really smell for the first few fires getting better now the same one is sold by many companies some say that theirs don’t smell don’t know if that’s true .Great value for what l paid

Have fire just over 2mounth and glass broke oi know it was ower falt but asked for replacement glass can’t do it not good fire doesn’t work same so not very good,just a follow up they did replace the glas and the fire is working great for over a year now
